Excellent location, but serviceable accommodation. While acknowledging Sydney prices, and over the Christmas period, at the price point (2k for 3 nights) amenities could have been better to be honest. While tidy enough, it needed a deep clean, the courtyard was a bit of a jungle, and the appliances need replacing (for e.g. TV didn’t really work whether terrestrial or trying to access apps through the attached dongle - not a smart TV). There were no wine glasses, and the main shower was leaky. Could be a super cute place with a bit more work and maintenance.
It was a beautiful spot. The house was great. I think it would have been good to know it’s on a one way street with no parking close by as I have limited mobility ( a couple of stairs and 100metres is all I can manage). None of the suggested spots were avaliable all week so we had to keep moving our car but otherwise it was a very lovely stay. In saying all of that we’d stay again just using Uber and public transport. Thank you

Hi Joanne, it’s actually not a one way street, it is however a dead end street, or cul-de-sac, albeit small. That is a characteristic of the entire area I’m afraid. I do make it very clear that there is no parking and give a lot of alternatives. It would have been nice to know that you had limited mobility prior to your arrival, perhaps I could have explained it more. We would love to have you stay with us again anytime, especially now that you are more familiar. Cheers, Julie
Cute and small but practical. Good for 3 adults. Very small downstairs bedroom. Image of location on website is incorrect. It’s at the end of a small narrow dead end street. Hard for parking. But the location is great, close to cafe strip and North Sydney. Funny smell inside. Upstairs bathroom needs window coverings for privacy. Overall very good.

Dirty
The property was dirty, and it smelled of sewerage. It appears there is a problem with drains or something at the property and it made the back garden unusable because if the smell. We took some photos but frankly I would rather stay in a hotel where the level of hygiene is much better. Very disappointing and I would have moved out on arrival but at this time of the year it’s hard to find alternative accommodation at short notice.

That’s a lot of rubbish Richard. Totally untrue and you said nothing to me either when you arrived or after you left. You’ve probably said this as a payback because I charged you for the sheets and pillowcases you ruined!

I was able to speak with the host on several occasions but a lot of my problems about early checkin as well as less than desirable appearance of the outdoor areas of the property. Im a disability person who did not find the property safe.

Sorry Jennifer but it is impossible to keep a yard tidy from leaves when there is rain and wind that collect them up and move them around all the time. Obviously the property wasn’t suitable for you, and I don’t have it advertised as suitable for disabled.
Very basic and poor amenities for the price. After all the add ons this was an expensive property which looked nice on the website but in reality it was substandard - no mats on the floors, no colourful comfy cushions, tv didn’t work well - kept getting ‘weak signal’ message, towels small and thinnest I’ve ever seen, courtyard not swept, windows dirty, blinds dusty. In short it was over priced and substandard. Won’t be staying again.
