Comfortable century old home in heart of the city. Ample parking. Very high beds make getting in and out a challenge for short people.Overall, highly recommend.
The house is beautiful and in a great location. Quirky decor and plenty of space to eat and hang out. Our group found it very comfortable and convenient for visiting wineries along Keuka Lake and walking around the cute downtown of Penn Yan, but we also spent time enjoying the grill, fire pit, and hot tub. Things to be aware of:-The beds are HIGH off the ground! This could be a concern if you have folks in your group who are very short and/or have mobility issues.-The upstairs bathroom has a shower; the downstairs bathroom has a tub with a shower handle and curtain, but I didn’t see a place to secure the handle, so it’s not quite as functional as a normal shower. We had a group of six and had zero issues with this, but larger groups may want to plan for it.-It’s an old house, so there are some things you can expect with that—older windows, no central AC (there were plentiful window units that kept the place quite comfortable though!), some deferred maintenance that didn’t affect our stay.
We had a great time the house was very nice. The only think I would say is the floors in some of the bedrooms were slippery. They were waxed well lol. The house is very nice!
The property was very clean and well-maintained. the inside and outside looked exactly like the photos shown on the website. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside was my guest and I were not able to use the awning, which would have helped protect us from the rain while using the hot tub and grill. Especially considering the price paid for our stay, access to the awning would have made the experience much more enjoyable and convenient. Aside from that everything was beautiful, comfortable, and well-kept.
Overall. Very nice place. A little dated. Thankful that we only had six guests versus the maximum of ten allowed, because there is really only one shower and barely enough hot water for six folks to run through it in a 2-3 hour period. Serviceable for a weekend getaway.

Thank you for staying at our early 1900’s Victorian. Actually there are 2 full bathrooms and. Shower in each bath. Also we are on city water, so we have plenty if water. If there was an issue we are very responsive. The house has 5 large bedrooms which have often accommodated groups of 10. The yard is huge and private and the property is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Penn Yan. 6 minutes from Seneca Lake and 3 minutes from Keuka Lake.
The property was beautiful and just as depicted in photos. It was private and perfect for a ladies getaway. The host was very responsive and we had the best time.
The house was clean and comfortable. We all enjoyed our stay. The location was great - we walked to several breweries in town. Thank you for a great weekend.
Beautiful house...check in was easy and we had everything we needed for our wine weekend getaway with friends...one small minor breaker issue which was resolved quickly. Everything was clean and the hot tub was a nice bonus.Wish we could have used the awnings for shade but overall great stay.
We were only here for a quick weekend trip for a wedding, but would have loved to stay all week just to relax, sit in the hot tub, and cozy up on the couches with a good book! The home was vintage and charming, the decor was fun and sweet, and we loved the tea cups and tea on the beds! Everything was very clean, and the owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. A beautiful weekend away.
We absolutely loved our stay. Such a beautiful house. The attention to detail was appreciated. We felt like princesses in the beautiful tall, comfortable beds. The house was so well appointed. We enjoyed the hot tub, front porch, patio area and various sitting areas. We walked downtown for dinner which was amazing. Loved watching the Amish ride up and down the street on the fronch porch. Would highly recommend.
Down to every little detail the house was beautiful. The tea cups and magazine quotes on every bed is how we picked our rooms. The hot tub and fire pit were great. We thank you for a beautiful stay and apologize for being loud the one evening.
This was a girls weekend away (for ‘girls’ in their 60’s, 70’s and 90’s, lol). The home was absolutely lovely, with a lot of attention to details. We had a wonderful time! We would not hesitate to stay at this property again and highly recommended it. Please note that the beds and bedrooms are beautiful, and the beds are very high up off the ground. Step stools are provided and needed to get in and out of bed.
We had such a nice time we had to add another day! The house was beautiful and the hot tub was wonderful! Owners were very nice and helpful. would definately go back again! -diane
My family stayed for the weekend for a wine tour, the place is a great location, and large enough for ten people to stay comfortably. We really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was an added bonus!
The house and area was wonderful. Martha was very responsive and helpful along the way. There is a firepit and charcoal grill, but make sure to bring your own supplies if you want to use it.
