A wonderful stay during Thanksgiving

We had three families stay for three nights during Thanksgiving and found the accommodations perfect for adults and children. The neighborhood was safe and lovely. We definitely would stay here again.

Great Location for Winter Golf Trip

The Sunny Indio home was just perfect for our winter golf trip. The home was clean and just as advertised. The information provided for arrival was clear and made the process very easy. The board games and game room were a nice addition. Nice patio in back to relax after a day of golf and dinner.

Perfect set up..

This house is super clean and set up perfect for a desert getaway. Some friends booked this house to go to the Indian wells tennis tournament. Maybe a five minute drive to the venue and lots of food near by. I would definitely recommend this house for a stay in the LaQuinta/Indio/Indian Wells area.

Fun Game Room

The kids had lots of fun with the pool and ping pong tables, board games as well as the other games in the game room (garage). The house was clean and the beds were comfy and it all worked out as a great place to stay near our family that live in the area. The covered backyard patio is a great space for hanging out. Some small issues - smoke detector battery died in the middle of the night, chirp chirp chirp… some outlets were not working, but overall we very much appreciated the effort that was obviously put into making our stay fun with added touches like sunblock for hanging out by the pool, welcome basket with snacks and lots of available spices in the kitchen. We would stay here again.

Avoid this place

Suitable for Elderly was specifically stated in the VRBO description of the property but since our stay it has been removed. The only first floor bathroom is very small and not suitable for anybody. The shower is tiny. My elbow kept hitting and opening the shower door plus there was no room to turn around. There were no grab bars. The rug outside the shower did not have a non slip backing. My wife slipped on the rug while trying to use the shower, fell, and sustained a compression fracture on her T10 vertebra. A 911 call and an ambulance trip to the hospital made for a very unpleasant stay. The only first floor bedroom contains the electronic equipment for the house. There are lights blinking constantly and a very noisy fan which runs constantly. I did contact the management about this when we first arrived but nothing could be done. The swimming pool (above ground tub) was full of green algae and dirty. We could not use it. The garbage cans outside were full and covered with flies. We had to take them to the street on garbage day just to avoid flies everywhere. The recreation area is nothing more than the garage, which we could not use for our car. It was dark, dingy, and not as advertised. The screen door to the patio was broken. I quickly notified the contact person so we would not be held responsible. There were cigarette butts in multiple places on the patio. The lights would go off and on at random times. I give this place zero stars.
