We enjoyed our stay at Loon’s Echo. The back screened in porch is great for hanging out and playing games. The lake was warm for swimming even though the weather was on the cool side. We had nice hikes to the fire tower and 9 corner lake. Canada Lake Store had lots of food options.
The location of the cabin is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. It has all the modern conveniences while still managing to feel rustic. The screened in porch overlooking the lake is a wonderful spot for morning reading/coffee, and the boats were fun to use. This is our second stay here and we want to go back again! It is exceptionally clean and Chris is very responsive. We highly recommend this place!!
Beautiful cabin in a lovely setting. Cozy, warm and tidy. Decorated wonderfully. Hot tub is a gem as it is on a covered back porch. Plan to visit again!
The property has an amazing view of the lake. While it has other houses close on each side, it still manages to feel secluded. It has many personal touches which make it a nice escape and a great place to recharge.

Thank you, Elizabeth. We strive for a clean and welcoming environment and are happy to host you anytime. The vacant wooded lot next to the cabin offers privacy to guests that most cabins in the area could never compete with. Thanks again!
We stayed a few days during winter break. The home was exceptional and beyond what we imagined
Property owner was open to communication.
We loved it!!!!!
It was everything the website said, and more! The cabin was immaculate and the ammenities far above anything I have found in a rental before. The cabin is so lovely, that even on the day it rained, we were content to hang out on the porch, enjoying the hot tub and the beautiful scenery. Chris is a great host and very responsive. My family loved it and we already want to go back!
The cabin is exquisite! Perfectly nestled in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains on the lakes edge! The decor is out of a magazine! We enjoyed canoeing, swimming, and walking in the woods carpeted with years of pine needles & moss. An escape from the noise of everyday life!
From the moment we stepped into this beautiful place, we felt relaxed. The pictures are only a hint of how lovely it is structured, furnished and decorated. The hot tub was incredible during our 20degree temps. With any luck we will return again! Thanks for sharing it!
My husband and I had the most beautiful time. The cabin was so beautiful the fire place and the jacuzzi were perfect. We went canoeing and watched the sunset. So romantic and Chris was quick to answer any questions we had. Thank you for a much needed escape from our crazy lives. The pictures don’t capture how perfect this place is! We never wanted to leave!
The cabin was what an Adirondack cabin should be.When first walking in the door music was on, a candle was lit, and the atmosphere was great. It matched the photos in the listing.
The kitchen was great. It has all the pots, pans and dishes needed to cook. The rib steaks we had were wonderful.
We enjoyed sitting in the living room area and watching movies.
We definitely plan on staying here again.
We had a wonderful 3 night weekend stay. The cabin was lovely with perfect Adirondack decor to match the beautiful scenery outside. Lake was serene and gorgeous. We enjoyed reconnecting before our wedding in less than three months, it was a great place to recharge and rest before the craziness we have in store. Kitchen was beautiful, we put that to use multiple times. Fireplace was our favorite spot along with the jacuzzi overlooking the lake. Wonderful and clean with everything you would need. This place is a must stay!
I was planning on going with my wife but she had to back out last minute (isolating, she just fine though). I booked this cabin as I purchased a nice pedal fishing kayak and wanted to fish, which I did, two days for about four hours each day. I didn’t catch fish but had a great experience regardless. The place is beautiful!! Everything is new and squeaky clean; the decorations (all retro Adirondack) and furniture are so authentic and well thought through. I spent about 1/2 hour upon arrival just taking it all in. The screened porch is perfect with an even perfecter view. All furniture including the bed I slept in were so cozy. I used the hot tub on the porch twice and it was great. Small shower so save your romance for elsewhere (just fine for me, myself and I). The weather was perfect (55-80 degrees with calm winds). I walked twice for dinner, ten minutes each way, once for takeout at the country store and once at Vroomans, which was actually pretty good. I’ll be coming back!!
The pictures do not do this cabin justice. Amazing cabin with stunning views!
My boyfriend and I have never visited the Adirondacks before. Had a great experience and would defiantly come back! The cabin was beautiful warm and cozy.
This cabin is perfectly designed for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay on a beautiful lake. We had everything we needed and more. Local hiking in the fall woods and
watching loons on the water and spectacular sunsets were all highlights. Contact with the host was great throughout.
Wonderful time and Chris was terrific to work with. We would definitely come again.

About the host
Hosted by Chris
I am a REALTOR with Coldwell Banker, AMS Inc. in Johnstown NY and a lifelong resident of the area. I truly enjoy the Adirondacks all year long as well as it's early American history. Most specifically I love reading about the historic purpose of the region and the early folklore and campfire "yarns" of the surrounding villages. A perfect vacation for me would be in the mountains experiencing inclement weather(odd, I know), a fireplace, a book, and a cup of coffee.
As a hobby, I like to "dabble" in the art of Adirondack furnishings and decor, as you will see many of my pieces throughout my cabins. I'm all about the fine detail. Which in fact drives me nuts and comforts me at the same time. My psychiatrist is researching it. Ok, thats a joke........ he's not really looking into it.
I LOVE Star Wars, just ask me. I belong to the R2builder's group and the 501st Legion and have built my own life-sized fully remote controlled R2-D2 with all the "bells and whistles" which I take to events to help raise money for children's cancer awareness and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
