Only steps away from the beach, there is public beach access at the end of 1st Street with a winding ramp leading you to the sugar white sands. If it is essential to get your steps in before hitting the beach, there is a sidewalk that leads to the pet friendly, St. Joe Beach in one direction, and in the other direction you’ll find the locally owned food trucks in Mexico Beach for those Killer Fish Tacos, snow cones or milkshakes. This was a perfect get away for me and my husband! Mexico beach is the most peaceful beach. No need to get up early and go save your place on the beach. The home was clean. The neighborhood was quiet. Will go back!

Great location

The location is superb and the place was very clean and well furnished. We would stay here again. A few notes: The rental has the basics. Bring your own salt and pepper, extra garbage bags, TP, etc. There are no beside tables or lamps The washer and dryer are in a shed in the back yard.

This was a much needed get an away for my sis, recently lost her husband, the beach has always been her happy place, so a reset for her healing to start.House is in a great location in a very quiet neighborhood. You are able to walk the short distance to the beach but be aware of the sand dune at this boardwalk, it is a little steep pulling a wagon, but the beach, surf & weather was beautiful & wonderful. Our Only 3.5 star , No Sleep.We are both light sleepers & even with a CPAP mask (sis) & a sound machine & fan in my room, no sleep. The upper renters arrived and every door they shut or steps they made day & night, we knew where they were inside the unit any given moment.

Get away

Had problems with the tv in living saying the memory was full had to use one in bedroom , batteries in one of the remotes in dirt bed room not working., the stove would flip the breaker when turned on over and stovetop eyes . But other than that it was clean and nice place to stay.

Girls trip

Overall it was a wonderful spot for our girls trip. What would have made it perfect would have been more than one set of 4 utensils. Has to hand wash after every meal so basically the dish washer is useless. Lol Also another mirror besides the one in the bathroom would be an added asset, maybe a full length mirror. Girls like to see what they look like before they go out. Had a great time!

Got to stay one right because we had to leave early because my daughter was hospitalized and we tried to get in contact with owners and see if they could do something to help us out and there was no response.

Plus- It is quint, it is perfect for a couple and maybe a small child or another adult. I love the fact that the beach is really only a minute walk if that. And the beach is absolutely gorgeous and quiet compared to Panama City Beach. Cons- I didn’t realize that the upper unit was rented out as well so kinda noisy with upstairs guest. And the house is kinda skimpy on household accommodations. All in all though not a bad spot, great for checking out the area and seeing what we wanted in the future of possibly buying in this area or surrounding areas. Good spot especially if your planing on being out and about most of the time…which when you are here who isn’t lol!

The home was easy to find, great location. Very clean. Bedrooms could use mirrors. Bathroom was only mirror in the house. Frig was very big and nice. Could use more kitchen stuff, (pots, pans. eating utensils, bowls) We only stayed 3 nights and it was a wonderful get a way. Will return.

Very good proximity to the beach. Place was clean overall but has very minimal amenities. The place was very noisy and we were interrupted early mornings (5:00 am or before) by a loud television and walking upstairs every day of our stay.
