Magic Beach Retreat is a cosy and relaxing holiday home with everything you need to unwind and enjoy time together.
Directly opposite the beach, a sandy path leads straight down to tidal rock pools and amazing sunsets. We have a full kitchen for preparing your favourite holiday foods, outdoor dining under a gazebo, hanging chairs, a fire-pit, library, puzzles, toys and more.
All linen is provided so you can relax straight away. We are delighted to share our family holiday home with you.
We have taken great care to make our home relaxed and comfortable. Vintage and up-cycled furniture compliment new and functional pieces with a mid-century modern feel. The bed linen has been lovingly selected with colours and patterns that are inviting and fun. As much as possible we have tried to use environmentally friendly choices and considered/ethical products.
The house was built in the 1990's and we were lucky to become the custodians in 2021. We are committed to appreciating the existing features of the home and only gently upgrading areas as needed. Major plans include the building of a deck out the front and revitalising the garden with Australian natives, citrus and herbs (hello cocktail hour!).
Our spaces are a work in progress and we appreciate your ideas, feedback and suggestions.
Special NOTE: Our home is set up to host 4 adults and 6 children. We are not able to take automatic bookings for 10 adults. Please contact us if you are looking to book for more than 4 adults to discuss the possibility of special arrangements for your needs.

We've stayed in a lot of accommodation on the Yorkes over the years and this is by far the best. It's a real home away from home, everything you could need is provided. A great stay for all ages, so relaxing we'll be back :)
Great house in a lovely part of the Yorke, across the road from a rock pool beach. Great set up for families with lots of toys and board games. Nice outdoor spaces.
Host was great, communicated very quickly when we had a power outage due to a storm.
Overall a great spot to visit and can use as a base for exploring the region.

Unhappy
No rails on stairs and I chose single dwelling to avoid stairs. Slipped on mats . No microwave in kitchen. Lounge chairs very low and torn. Bathroom not to code. Shower doors didn’t meet and came off railing. Both shower heads faulty. One tapped together and other sprayed from wall. Couldn’t close shower doors. Cracked power points in bathroom and kitchen. Pillows very low . Many mat corners to trip on. Overall felt it was overpriced.condsiderimg the faults we found . Location was okay.
We loved the house. Location perfect, house adorable.
We found out a bit dusty, there were dishes in the dishwasher and sheets in the dryer. So cleaning could have been a bit more thorough
Lovely little house with beautiful scenery and beach right across the road. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend. Owners were lovely and informative
