Incredible view

Poipu Shores worked out really well. Comfortable accommodations and convenient location. Appreciated not being in the midst of big resort type places: smaller and more personal. The view out our balcony was incredible. We watched whales breaching and splashing, and enjoyed beautiful sunrises/sunsets.

Great View

This property is all about the view and hearing the ocean. However. It was not being cleaned properly as the floor tiles turned our feet black and the shower tiles were super slipperly ie. Not cleaned. I did love the location. The property manager did address the cleaning issues.

Beautiful view, but tired property

We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching a few of the whales play in the distance. The unit wasn’t as nice as some other properties that we have stayed at in Poipu. There is a charge for using any of the little shampoos they set out. And for using the little bags of coffee that are set out. The shower floor was gross. It was slippery and full of mildew and/or mold. They provided two small bath towels in the master bathroom. The floor throughout the rest of the condo was dirty. They ask you to remove your shoes, which we typically do anyway, but the floor felt filthy to walk on barefoot. The WiFi is not secure. It is more like a hotel than a private condo. And as a bonus, they leave a full dishwasher of dishes for you to unload from the previous guests and tell you in their welcome materials that is a benefit. It was nice to have a washer/dryer available. And a nice view of the ocean.

We apologize for the confusion on the little sheet of charges and the Wi-Fi. The little sheet of charges provided in your packet is in the case you need additional shampoo, conditioner, lotion, cleansing bar, body wash, laundry detergent then what’s been provided. We don’t charge for what we have put in the unit for your use. Regarding the Wi-Fi, we will share this feedback with our association board of directors. Our cleaning policies are that we run the dishwasher prior to an arrival to assure clean, untouched dishes for guests to use. We also provide a bath towel 30”x54”, hand towel 16”x30”, and a washcloth 13”x13” for the occupancy of the unit. If this is not what you received, please let us know and we will handle with our team accordingly. The floors, we will check with the owner to see if we can hire a professional to come in as we have tried a couple cleaning methods, and it doesn’t seem to be working. Please allow me to express my apologies and rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem. It is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide a better experience for you in the future. Take care and Mahalo, Kahea
