Lovely cottage. Very cozy on a pretty cold weekend. Supplies of eggs, bread, tomatoes and pantry items were appreciated and plenty of reading materials and games also. Loved the outdoor bath and quirky items in the surrounding garden area.
Was immediately comfortable in this gorgeous rustic cabin. Loved the mezzanine bedroom that takes full advantage of views over the stunning grounds. Couldn't possibly have been a more pleasant stay.

This property provided everything which we needed. We used it to attend the Clunes Book Festival, 10 minutes drive away.
The owners were both most helpful.
The setting in trees with ponds is very attractive.
This is a spacious A-frame, with the bedroom upstairs, getting lovely views to the trees and the dam on the property. It's reasonably well equipped: coffee pods & milk frother; only tea bags & no teapot so real tea drinkers miss out. A full stove-oven, microwave and large fridge. Fresh bread, eggs, butter, conserves, tomatoes and an avocado awaited us - thank you!The bath on enclosed verandah was fun, and there are plenty of spots outdoors to sit and enjoy the local view. It's very peaceful, and even though owners's home is only 30m away, they face the other direction and we never saw them, felt private. It's less than 10 minutes drive to Creswick with a good IGA supermarket, plenty of choices in the main Street for a coffee and cake - La Pêche Gourmand has terrific high quality pastries and cakes. The mullock heaps dotted all over the region recall the gold fever which hit here from the late 1850s. Finally, right outside the gate we saw grounds orchids and many other small local perennials.
