Five palms (no palms and no fence)
A lovely house with lots of great features, however a number of basic things that could be improved.
There are beds for seven people, yet the dining table only has chairs for four. There is a separate bar in the lounge, but if there are five of you, that makes for a very lonely dining experience.
A well equipped kitchen, but no oven gloves or scissors available. The dishwasher is far too small for a property that can take seven people. It was on 4 or 5 times a day with only five of us.
And my biggest gripe - the property was advertised as having a fenced back garden. The front was unfenced and I received email confirmation that this was the case, but the back garden was enclosed so it would be safe for our dogs. THERE WAS NO BACK GARDEN! A house is currently under construction where the back garden would have been. This meant that at 7am every morning we were woken with construction work. The house is on SH1 (which was not pointed out to us and I didn't realise) so to keep our dogs safe they had to be on the lead at all times outside and we had to be super vigilant not to leave a door open so they couldn't escape. Very disappointed.
