While staying at The Blue Lake House guests will have access to the entire property except for any rooms with a locked door. Please do not try and unlock these doors, these rooms consist of maintenance supplies. To reaffirm, guests will have access to the lower level, main level, and upper level along with any unlocked rooms existing there.

Your furry friends are welcome, with a $200 fee with 2 pets maximum.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
- Please bring all garbage from bathroom areas and kitchen with you. See guidebook for Garbage disposal location based on your Check-Out day.
- Load dirty dishes and run the dishwasher cycle upon checking out. - Switch off all lights before you leave. Fireplace switch is turned to the off position.

It was a great stay. Exactly what I had imagined and hoped for. The cottage was beautiful with many windows allowing us to view the outside with all the snow. The spa area was my favorite and I am already planning to rebook the same place again.

This was a lovely property! The outdoor spaces were delightful, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The photographs accurately reflected the interior and exterior spaces, and the interior was comfortable and well-laid-out. We especially loved how light-filled the house was, and the walk-out level game and television room was definitely a bonus! The host was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. Thanksgiving at the Blue Cottage

We had a lovely stay, beautiful and clean cottage with lots of space. We enjoyed the onsite hot tub and sauna as well as lots of fall walks on nearby cottage roads.

Peaceful and perfect Lakehouse

If you are in the Haliburton area, this house should be at the top of your list of places to stay. It is spotless and well-appointed, tucked away on a quiet road. We had a restful and comfortable stay :)

Fantastic Girls Weekend

Excellent place and well stocked

The place was nicer in person than even shown in the pictures, which is reverse than what you normally see. LiNi was responsive and communicative. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend Retreat

Beautiful well-maintained house with lots of amenities. My sister and I enjoyed making ourselves lattes in the morning using the coffee station and relaxing on the deck. Lots of space for a bigger group and very close to Haliburton.

Lovely stay at this beautiful property

We had a great time at this property. It is well maintained, clean, and very comfortable. We were very impressed with how well stocked it was - little things like having coffee pods and olive oil available make planning so much easier. The hot tub was a major plus. Blue Lake House Haliburton

Wonderful place to stay!

This home was exactly as pictured, very clean, bright and was ready for our arrival. The amenities were all as pictured and made our stay very enjoyable. Grocery store was only a short drive which made the stay convenient. The location was peaceful, which is exactly what we needed. Great for couple or a family getaway. Did not want to leave! Would highly recommend - will be back.

A true gem

Cottages likes these are hard to find and we’re definitely happy to have stayed here. It is clean, spacious, and has everything you need for the enjoyment of the whole family. The area is really nice as well and was only 2 hours away from Toronto.

Awesome Place!!!

I stayed here with a group of friends and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed and more. We had fun with the kayak and the SUPs on the lake, enjoyed eating out on the deck and hanging around the fire pit. It was very spacious and the host is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would go back to this property and definitely recommend it to others! Nice property. Not lakefront

Property is nice on the inside. Location is not favourable as it is not lakefront and doesn’t have many opportunities for lakefront activities nearby. Otherwise it is fun if you enjoy sauna and hot tubs and bbqs.

Absolutely gorgeous and fun

The cottage itself was both cozy and luxurious. The host definitely thought of all the details and we felt welcomed. I only wished the description mentioned the outdoor surveillance cameras, but they weren't a deal breaker and I would probably want them there, too, if I were the host. The beach and huge playground in town were just a short drive and made the kids' week. We made some great memories here. Thank you!!

Wonderful Cottage

The cottage was beautiful. The dwelling was spacious and well decorated. It felt like you were at home. We spent most of our time at the shared dock. It was accessible via water trail down the road. We ended up driving down to get the kayak and paddleboards to the dock. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again.

Great, well kept, gorgeous property, a short drive from Halliburton where there’s a beach. There is also an access to lake through a short trail but we preferred the beach for the kids. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hosts were extremely responsive and thought of every little detail from mosquito spray to life jackets. The mattress and everything provided in the cottage was of top notch quality. Highly recommend.
