Not a good experience
When we arrived,Renee was cleaning and she showed me around. Initially I was thrilled with The Parlor. When she left, she said that she was coming back with paper towels and a trash bag. She did not do this until two days later. We went to the grocery store, and set our groceries on the counter. As I’m putting things away, all of our groceries are covered with something sticky. Our bread bag to our bananas were all sticky. I had to clean. But that was not easy because there were not any washcloths anywhere - in the kitchen or in the bathroom. I washed with towels. We even had to wash the dishes as we took them out of the cupboards as we used them, because there was food still stuck on the plates and rings inside the coffee cups. Disgusting! I then planned to put all of the dishes into the dishwasher. When I opened the dishwasher, there was black stinky water in the bottom of our dishwasher! Just gross! Our first night was uncomfortable because the house was cold! In the middle of the night we could not sleep because it was freezing. My husband tried to adjust the thermostat. The pipes were cold. No heat. The next day we located the radiators. My husband sent emails with all of our concerns. We never heard back from anyone until water from our unit was going into the unit below us. We had a maintenance man replace the dishwasher and he fixed the furnace. The next day I ran a load of dishes on a normal cycle. When I opened the dishwasher the dishes were all still dirty. I washed the dishes by hand up until the day we checked out. I told the maintenance man that this place is a pit. We were in town for a funeral. Most people heard the story of our stay. Your rental is not getting good reviews.
