THE SPACE
Serenity by the Bay has large and open living spaces providing a modern entertainment experience, where it flows over to the sun filled dining and sitting area, overlooking fresh outdoor space.

Need to do abit of work? We have you covered. We provide a dedicated modern workspace with high speed NBN internet connectivity so you don’t miss out on joining your family and friends while working from your home away from home.

Our backyard alfresco area is an ideal place to relax on a summer afternoon, hosting a bbq dinner or lunch while playing outdoor games on the grass or simply having a warm drink while roasting marshmallows around the fire pit in winter.

Play table tennis matches in our game room or take our bikes for a ride to the nearby Collingwood Beach through the dedicated bike path that is surrounded by natural bush lands and native animals. Take the kids to the park for a picnic, or visit the nearby leisure center for a swim or workout. There are plenty of entertainment options to keep the young ones occupied.

If you decide to stay in, our 75" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with complimentary Prime Video, and Plex Movie and TV library will sure to satisfy your media needs . Or simply just listen to music on our high quality sounding Sonos, or plug in to the high speed internet and just relax.

We have a 60inch 4 player arcade machine with over 750 games, boardgames and children's books to keep everyone entertained as well as outdoor games in the backyard.

Our fully stocked kitchen with butler pantry and our laundry is also equipped with coffee machine, cookware and appliances. Getting groceries to cook the family a meal is only a 160 meter walk away. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants or takeout options available.

Our luxurious beds and beautifully designed bedrooms will ensure a comfortable night's sleep after long day of activities.

Our home has exactly 4 bedrooms, 7 beds, 2 showers, 1 bath tub, 2 sinks, 2 toilets and 1 laundry room equipped with a laundry sink, washer and dryer.

GUEST ACCESS - ENTIRE HOUSE (MAX.10)
We can sleep up to a maximum of 10 guests. 8 Adults and 2 Kids comfortably. Your booking price is for the entire house up to 10 guests.

Registered Guests have access to the entire house, including the backyard and games room. Fresh linen & towels are provided in all beds for up to 10 guests.

To be environmentally friendly, we ask that you only use the necessary beds and linen for the number of guests in your party.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
While parking in the garage is not available, there are parking spots available on the driveway and on the street.

Our bunk beds have mattresses that are 190cm in length. Maximum weight on top bunk - 100kg.

Our home is commercially cleaned, and linen is professionally laundered.

Amenities including dishwashing liquid, soap, tea, coffee, and sugar are complimentary, but limited per stay.

We have a camera at the exterior front door, and side exterior. These are to confirm guests arrival and departures. They will be active but not monitored during your stay.

Stunning home & convenient location

The place was great. The cleanest property I’ve stayed in. They think of everything from entertaining the kids with the games room, to coffee pods for the adults. Super convenient location. Close to all beaches, cafes and a stroll to Woolies. Beds are actually comfortable. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Loved our stay!

Stylish holiday house with convenient access to shops (woolworths, aldi). 10 mins drive to beaches. Rooms were spacious and modern, and clean. Kitchen was well equipped, high chair was provided along with kids cutlery which was very thoughtful. Rice cooker, air fryer, coffee machine were wonderful additions to the kitchen, all in impeccable condition. Owners Chris & Lynn were super responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Looking forward to staying at the property again.

Beautiful property, convenient location, perfect for families!

We had a fantastic stay here for a long weekend on the coast. The house is located a short drive to all the beautiful beaches in the area, close to shops and a lovely Thai and Fish and Chip shop. With plenty of space inside for a family, table tennis and games to keep the kids entertained, comfy beds and coaches and all the essentials you need to cook and clean, makes it an easy option to enjoy time in that beautiful area. The house is very clean, well maintained and beautifully styled. The hosts had great communications and left a very thoughtful welcome hamper! Highly recommend, we'll be back in the future for sure! Many thanks.

Exceptional property

Beautifully appointed, fresh and serene. Biggest oven I’ve ever cooked in!! Every detail has been thought of, right down to labels on the light switches so you aren’t fumbling about. I highly recommend this beautiful space, especially for a big family. ❤️

Exceptional property and location

We stayed at this property for 4 days over New Years. Check in was effortless and quick with no dramas. This property is unlike any holiday rental I’ve ever experienced, it has all the creature comforts you could ask from kitchen appliances to entertainment options. The cleanliness was 11/10. It’s location to beaches and shops is excellent, 5 min walk to the supermarket and 5min drive to the beach. It is managed superbly and would recommend to every and anyone . We hope to stay here again in the near future .

It was Home away from Home

Stayed at Serenity by the Bay for 3 nights with my family and my brother and his family. As soon as we walked in the property, we were wowed by the place. It was very clean, we loved the open kitchen, living and dining room space, very modern and very stylish (it looked like a display home!). The bedrooms are a good size and the beds comfortable. The kids loved sleeping on the bunk beds. Overall, it just had everything we needed and we felt very at home. The hosts did an amazing job. It was an easy check in, Chris and Lynn were always easy to contact and were quick to reply. Chris and Lynn had everything covered from having kids plates and cutlery, to the games room, amenities, a welcome pack of delicious goodies which we enjoyed and a helpful book that has everything from places to eat, to see, instructions on using key appliances etc. We enjoyed toasting marshmellows on the fire pit in the backyard and used the bikes there to explore the neighbourhood. Location was great, so close to the beaches, the national park, Woolworths was just down the road that you can walk there, close to town and plenty of nearby places to eat. After a day of exploring Jervis Bay and surroundings, it was so nice to come back to Serenity by the Bay! Thanks Chris and Lynn for a wonderful stay, we would love to come back. Highly recommend staying here especially for families.

Surveillance on property no visitor house

I would not recommend this property if you value privacy or reasonable communication with the host. While the home itself was clean and in a good location, the experience was marred by the owner’s absurd policies and lack of flexibility.We asked for permission to invite our parents in law (who were living nearby and we were days away from Christmas) over for dinner during our stay and were shocked when the host proposed to collect 1,000 for the gathering. (We had already fully paid for the property by that time.) This was completely unreasonable, especially since we weren’t planning a party or any kind of disruptive event.Additionally, there are surveillance cameras on the property, which made us feel like our privacy was constantly being breached. The owners knew exactly when we were home vs not home as they had eyes on us (we would have preferred to know this prior to booking the property). While we understand the need for security, the placement of these cameras felt intrusive and detracted from our ability to fully relax and enjoy the rental. To this day we are unsure whether the cameras also recorded audio. One of the cameras were placed close enough to the outdoor dining table to eavesdrop, even though it was not facing the table.Overall, I feel this property might work for someone who doesn’t mind rigid rules and constant monitoring, but it wasn’t the right fit for us. There are plenty of other rentals where you can feel more welcome and at ease.
