This cozy retreat is close to the Smokey Mountain National Park and Gatlinburg. Come up in elevation to escape the heat and crowd of town. Newly decorated studio on ground floor, no carrying luggage up stairs. Corner unit offers additional windows and opportunity to view wildlife. Ideal for couples, solo adventurers and hikers. Beautiful view of the Smokies from the pool area. Included on the grounds for your use are an outdoor heated pool (seasonal, closing approx. Oct. 1st), charcoal and gas grills, 2 outdoor hot tubs, sauna, game room (hot tubs, sauna and game room open year round), coin operated washer and dryer on second floor of building. Nest doorbell, Alexa and multiple USB's. Sorry, no children, pets, smoking/vaping, minimum age 21.

Short getaway

My wife and I stayed in pine cone corner for a short weekend getaway and we really enjoyed it. It was great for just the two of us. Very comfortable place to stay. The host was very easy to deal with and was very informative. We’d definitely stay here again

Cute and super tidy condo. We loved the community swimming pool and hot tubs at the clubhouse. Seamless communication with the property owner. Favorite part was seeing a Momma bear & her 3 cubs ❤️ early one morning!

40th Anniversary Celebration

Our stay was very nice. Celebrated our anniversary in Gatlinburg, where we also spent our honeymoon! The condo is just right in size. Beautiful views of the mountains. Great communication with the host. We recommend that you stay here! This was our second time staying here, and it has all the comforts you need for a respite. Don’t pass this one up! We will stay here again.

Top if the mountain views! Absolutely beautiful! Crazy road up l, take it easy. We did great and it was so perfect for us! It was so nice to be able to cook and go hang out in the hot tub after a long fun day! Kathy was a great host and she explained everything in detail so so well for us!

Great place !

Kathy is awesome host and provided much more information than we expected. She is very welcoming! We enjoyed our time. The check in process is super easy and she made the place available way earlier than the 3pm check in time! The place is on the top of the mountain with pools, hot tub and sauna. Great overall

I liked everything, due to the altitude of the place, we saw snow when it didn’t snow anywhere else. That was cool. The ONE thing I disliked was the neighbor upstairs… it sounds like they are tap dancing… jesus. Good thing I don’t have a problem sleeping with loud noises.

Awesome view!

The unit was very clean and comfortable. The decorations were so cute and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner was very accessible and provided helpful information about the area. I felt like I was talking to a friend. I especially appreciated getting check-in instructions well in advance. Almost forgot - the pool and hot tub were nice too. The road to the unit (top of the mountain) took a little getting used to but ultimately we completely enjoyed our stay!

Studio apartment in a quiet property with a pool, hot tub and sauna. Clean and comfortable. Property owner was very kind and helpful, even when I had to call her after 8pm. A couple of notes: bring your own pillows, and the Garbage truck came at 5:30am on Sunday morning.

We had a wonderful stay at "Pine Cone Corner." The apartment was in good condition, equipped with everything we needed, and its location made it so easy for us to unwind and enjoy our getaway, serving as the perfect home base for our trip. What truly made our experience special was our host, Kathy. She was incredibly responsive and genuinely caring, always replying to our messages within minutes. Whenever we encountered any issues, she was quick to help resolve them, ensuring that our stay was completely hassle-free. We highly recommend this lovely property!

Great location

Great place at the top of the mountain. Great communication and instructions. The only negative, which is no fault of the host, is that my husband is 6’7”. He barely fit inside the door. The ceiling was about an inch from his head. Therefore the bed was also a little challenging as it is surrounded by 3 walls and he could not stretch out fully. Again no fault of the host. She was great and the place was great. Just a caution if you happen to be on the taller side.

The property is really on top of the mountain. Not recommended if you are you are planing activity off the mountain. Definitely recommend for a quite retreat. There are amazing views.

Honeymoon getaway

I could not find anything wrong with the place the place was perfect. The only thing that I had trouble with is we were not told that it was pretty much on top of a mountain and you are driving like if you were in astronaut trying to get up the hill. and then when you went down a hill you actually had to ride your brakes the whole way down. and when you got down to the end of the Hill you could smell your brakes burning cuz you had to put on your brakes the whole time. Other than that I would have to say that the view was gorgeous. the people that was there around us was very very polite. the contact lady that we would talk to to get all our information was very very polite I cannot give her any kind of bad review at all her place was perfect it smells nice great view clean comfortable and the little note that was there telling us the best places to go with the top 10 best places to go was perfect .thank you very much
