My husbands family have cottaged and livied in the area for 50 years we love it, for its breath taking waterfalls, forested hiking trails and eco friendly spaces and its peacefullness. We love travelling and are avid photographers making Algonquin park, Everglades National Park, Namibia, Yosemite National Park, and Jasper National Park some of our all time favorite places to visit.

Why they chose this property

This property has the best of both worlds, a little something for everyone, private, relaxing, tranquil, and unruffled. Only 10 minutes from beautiful historic downtown Bracebridge with many interesting shops and resturants to tempt any palette. For those with children who beleive! Santas Village is right in the Bridge. There is a golf course right around the corner on hyw 117. We are directly accross from the Resource Mangement Centre with 16.6 kms of mountain biking hiking in a woodland setting.

What makes this property unique

Having this property on the river with 7kms of paddling in an almost remote wilderness with forest all around you, yet still close to all amneities anyone would need, is high importance to us. Getting a good night sleep, lots of clean fresh air, and sometimes doing nothing but sipping wine or enjoying morning coffee on the dock or sitting in the gazebo listening to the rain fall, with out a drop falling on you is such a stress reliever. Having a campfire and roasting marchmallos or telling ghost stories while snuggled in a cozy blanket from the cabin, is sometimes just what you need. Here you can live like a local and still discover and explore all our creature comforts and go home feeling restful and reguvientated.
