This was great for a large family. We had grandma,grandpa,mom dad and 4 children and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Highlights were fire pit, pool table, BBQ grill and large outdoor, covered seating area and children's toys.Lisa was a great hostess with donuts waiting for us when we arrived.

Great stay! This house has a quirky layout that was fun to experience. Plenty of space for our 4 person group. We enjoyed the pool table and the poker table. The host was fantastic. Very welcoming and responsive. The covered porch and fire pit looked inviting if it was not 100 degrees out! There were plenty of necessary items in the house for a weekend stay. Was great to come “home” to a cool retreat after being out and about in Springfield in the excessive heat warning. Would definitely stay again!

Check in was easy and all instructions were very clear. The covered patio and fencened in yard were wonderful, just to hot (100) during our stay to enjoy them. We we arrived the air was off and attic fan was on, the house was hot and smelled of smoke from fireplace. We quickly fixed this and emailed the host. They responded quickly and apologized. They called the next day to check on things and offered us a late check out for the issues. Lovely property and cute decor.

Our stay was great. We loved the outside seating area and even though you can hear the highway traffic it is in a beautiful secluded area and right next to everything you need.

We love staying in this home when visiting Missouri. It has everything you need to entertain a family and has a cozy feel, all while being close to nature. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful stay with lots of space for games/family time!

We loved this house -- clean, homey, comfortable, roomy, great location, and fully stocked with everything you need. Nice fenced in yard for our dog. Hosts are the sweetest. Make you feel welcome. Left muffins and nice snacks upon arrival. Will stay again.

Our stay began relatively well, the home was clean and well-stocked with essentials, and the fenced yard was a plus. However, there were some concerns we wanted to share for awareness. The heavy use of air fresheners and fragrance was overwhelming at first, and once it faded, there was a noticeable mildew smell. Some of the windows were also difficult to open, and the number of breakable items made it challenging to relax with young children present.The main issue occurred when you attempted to schedule routine maintenance during our stay, shortly after we had arrived from a 14-hour drive. We appreciated that this was eventually postponed after we explained the situation, but it did cause unnecessary stress.Additionally, near the end of our stay, we received a message thanking us for paying the pet deposit for our daughter’s service dogs. When we clarified that we hadn’t seen a deposit option during booking and asked how to pay through the official platform, we were instructed to use a third-party payment service. This raised security concerns, especially when further messages mentioned photos of us and that you lived across the street. This exchange felt inappropriate and uncomfortable, and communication stopped once we reiterated that we preferred to handle payment directly through the booking site.We wanted to share this feedback to help ensure smoother communication and clearer processes for future guests.

We very much enjoyed our stay in so many ways. The beautifully decorated sitting area welcomed us from the beginning as well as the treats our host had waiting for us ! There were many unexpected extras to make our stay easier, everything was well supplied and our Host was very kind and available. A big bonus is the Nature Center and walking trails within walking distance of the property and a nice fenced in area to enjoy. it was also easy for us to find. Our experience was postive.

Great Location

The little blue house was just what we needed for our week long stay in Springfield. Literally at the entrance to the nature preserve on a quiet fed end road, with a fenced backyard. The owner had many thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, games, little candies, and sidewalk chalk for my kids, and a platter of doughnuts upon our arrival! Plenty of beds (both full size beds were pretty creaky, but serviceable) and linens for all of us. The house is kind of a unique time capsule. It is close to every attraction in Springfield and only 40 minutes or so from Branson. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a nice place to relax and spend time in this area.

Charming & Cozy

Our family and pups enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfectly clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My girls enjoyed taking long runs in the nearby nature reserve and the pups enjoyed playing with the turtle in the shady fenced in backyard. Our host was very thoughtful and welcomed us with muffins and donuts. She provided great communication too! Will definitely book again!

Lovely spot, lots of privacy

Enjoyed our stay very much. Super well equipt house. Had absolutely every thing we needed. Stayed with my 3 teen and young adult sons, had cousins over. They loved the pool table, darts and poker table. The best part was that there was a separate room further away from the heart of the house so I was able to sleep soundly while they had their cousin time. Lovely location, very quiet, but easy highway acess. plenty of towels, blankets, pillows for when cousin time turned into sleepovers. Gorgous MCM architectual features we enjoyed discovering. All in all a very comfortable and homey stay.

Fun House

This was a fun house that was perfect for what we needed. Even though our friends and family got sick and weren't able to join us. We still enjoyed the house and space. The host was super nice and made sure the house was warm for when we got there. The location is great being right next to nature center. The neighbor hood was quite. We hope to be able to stay there again when it's warmer and be able to enjoy the outdoor patio area.

That Little Blue House

Quiet , relaxing and very comfortable. Host is the Best! Everything was better than hoped for. Not saying everyone will love this but it was just right up our allie. More like a super nice and clean " grandmother's house". Can't wait to find a reason to return in a little warmer weather to enjoy the carport/ patio section .

Bright Springfield

The house is clean and well kept up. The air freshener plug ins in most every room was a bit overwhelming. The chemicals irritate my eyes and give me headaches. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Great spot for friends

We had 2 families staying in the house and it had everything we needed. Room for the kids and a great fenced in yard. Right next to the Nature Center. Perfect spot for exploring Springfield.

Feels Like Home

Lisa, the homeowner, started our stay off with donuts and muffins. That alone set her apart from other places I’ve stayed. She also took the time to show my kids and my mom how to play pool, even playing a round with my daughter. The house is so beautiful! My favorite place is the front porch. The couches there were perfect to read or watch a storm from the safety of the car port that protected the area. Both my mom and I were blown away by all the little things she thought of, including treats for any fur babies we might have brought. It really felt like home! We plan on staying there again when we visit our family again.
