Beautiful property

Perfect weekend getaway! Peaceful and quiet! My kids loved being able to rome around 15 acres of land! Fall time was beautiful with the all the colors! House was very clean and nice set up for our family of 4! Just 20 min away from Ash cave.

Hocking hills weekend escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the farm. It was very peaceful and we enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunsets over the hills. The home is very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a short weekend getaway. Felt safe for kids and they had a great time running around the yard and watching tractors at work. About half an hour drive to the main Hocking Hills sites. We highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Peaceful

The cabin was simple but clean and comfortable. Being from a rural area, I found it perfect! The front porch was a great to relax at the end of the day. Was able to look out at the green pastures and sometimes the cows. Behind the cabin got to see the goats and sheep. My mom is legally blind and she was able to get around relatively easily.

Little slice of Heaven!

Driving down the long gravel path gave us just a hint of the breathtaking beauty that we would experience once we arrived at this cute little home. The house was well maintained, very clean and had just about everything we needed (Dishes, silverware, pans, appliances, foil, cellophane, coffee, tea, toiletries, a few first aid items etc). It was so peaceful and the landscape so beautiful, that I dreaded the thought of leaving. Anjum, our host, was very friendly and responded promptly to me. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to all of my friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

disappointed

nice house but way too pricey what they charged for cleaning seeing that you had to strip your beds and clean up all dirty towels and put all dishes away. I also found a bottle left in the bathroom that wasn't there when I checked in so I think someone came into the place when I was gone. No way was this a premier host. opened bag of cookies left in a cabinet and no wood provided for the indoor fireplace. Multiple used containers of shampoo in bathroom like they left the ones people brought with them.

Hi Pamela, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We are sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests. - The cleaning fee is per service that's set from the cleaning company that was recommended by Evolve - To ensure transparency in our listing, we reviewed the instructions on both the listing and the welcome book. There is no check-out instruction that requests our guests to remove the bedding. A part of our departure instructions is to wash the used dishes. Although we provide many amenities for our guests, we do not provide firewood - We reviewed the cameras and can confirm that no one entered the cabin during your stay so we are unsure of what bottle was in the bathroom that you're referring to - We will ensure to look into the open cookie box as one of the kids could have left it in the cabinet, but will ask the cleaning staff to thoroughly inspect this going forward - As a courtesy to our guests, we have left large shampoo bottles in the shower for guest use but will have this removed We do all we can to make the best possible experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

GEM of a Location

This property lives up to it's name as a peaceful get away for those seeking it. If you are needing a place to recharge and stepping away from life, this cabin provides the opportunity. Quaint, rural and secluded; you are able to relax but close to town if it. The drive up to the cabin put's it all in perspective that you won't have distractions. We have stayed at a number of properties over the years and when you can walk out off the front porch, listen to owls and other creatures all while gazing over a Starlite sky, it is a property that is truly a GEM of a place. If we do venture back to the area, we will definitely check on availability before any place else. It is ideal for individuals and/or couples.
