Neskowin has been a beloved beach destination for over 100 years, and the Proposal Rock Inn takes full advantage of its treasures. Lining Hawk Creek with views to the beach and strikingly beautiful Proposal Rock, the Inn puts you close to everything this quaint village has to offer.

This upper-level condo features a king suite, making it an excellent romantic retreat, but a daybed with a trundle also makes it a fine vacation spot for a small family. You’ll enjoy the bright, charming décor, the compact full kitchen and dining table, and the private balcony with a bistro table and chairs with the creek quietly splashing below. Your stay at the Inn gives you access to an outdoor gas grill and a coin laundry. The condo has a DVD library and games to enliven the evenings.

Walk to the beach, dining, a specialty grocery, ice cream and golf, or drive a half hour each way to the delights of Pacific City or Lincoln City. You’ll be glad to retreat to your creek-side condo at the end of the day to watch the sunset turn the sky behind Proposal Rock to flame.

What an easy delightful weekend getaway which to celebrate a gorgeous January sunset. The property was as advertised. One could see the beach if you stood at the windows and looked to your left. It wasn't too far of a walk for beach combing. The exterior windows were pretty grimy which didn't help if one wanted to look outside. There were no instructions for the home, except for a generic one-sheet on a bulletin board, which was mainly for checking out. The internet as others have mentioned was super slow, the TV gave a number to call with any challenges, but it was closed when we arrived. We did receive an email from someone with instructions after I had contacted the manager but we'd figured it out by then. The dishes were impossible for a short person to reach unless one stood on a chair. For the most part it was clean, there were a few things that I couldn't overlook. The coffee pot was new, microwave and fridge clean. The window treatments appeared to be new. The couch needs replacing, a person can feel the wood frame when sitting. Some of the other furniture is pretty tired. The games, etc. have seen better days. It was quiet, other guests were respectful and the nearby restaurant, store and golf course are very good.

We’ve scheduled an exterior window cleaning and asked housekeeping to follow up on the cleanliness concerns. The building's HOA has since switched all units to fiber internet and it has been far more reliable. We’ll speak to the homeowner about replacing the couch and the games as well. Please let us know what you were needing instructions for in the unit. We would happily write some up! Everything was great at checkin. There was a problem with the microwave and they replaced it that evening. The place was very clean and comfortable. The only problem was I wanted to enjoy the view from the patio but the neighbors have a dog who was out and barking. (no fault of yours) My dogs and I were at the beach most of the time and the location was great!

This condo was well equipped for dishes and pots and pans. If a person needs salt, sugar, or any special spices they need to bring them. We found a coffee pot and filters but no coffee so we went over to the store to purchase some. We thought we could watch cable, but the only channels were regular stations. We enjoyed playing cards and doing puzzles instead. We weren't given dish cloths or dish towels, but we used the extra hand towels from the bathroom. All these little things did not take away from our wonderful time. The days we spent in Neskowin had beautiful weather. The beach had low tide and we could walk all around Proposal Rock. We also loved the path that went past the golf course. We had a wonderful stay.

I love Neskowin and have stayed at the proposal rock condos a few times. This unit is tidy and comfortable. Easy access to the beach too! We would stay again and highly recommend it!

We love Neskowin and the Proposal Rock Inn, but we were disappointed with this property. While the location is excellent, the property needs attention in several key areas.1. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable. You can feel metal bars when you sit on it. It needs to be replaced.2. The king mattress is heavily stained and very uncomfortable. Way too firm. It definitely needs replacing.3. The kitchenware is very cheap, mismatched and cook wear is heavily stained. Also note there is no dishwasher so I recommend bringing your own paper plates and cups and not plan on doing any cooking in this unit.The wifi (which is the responsibility of Proposal Rock Inn) is very poor and if you can get a connection it is unsecure and very sketchy. Often I could not get past the authentication certificate unless I agreed to dismiss the certificate and then once connected to the internet a foreign gamer site pops up. VERY unsecure and very unreliable. Also we could not get the internet to work on the TV, so while the property advertises a Smart TV, good luck getting it to connect. Overall we were disappointed and do not recommend this property.

We will have maintenance inspect the sofa for structural issues and replace it if needed. The king mattress and bedding will be checked; stained items will be cleaned or replaced. We’ll also inventory the cookware collection and make an improvement plan. I apologize for the Wi‑Fi and Smart TV difficulties. The internet is provided by the building's HOA and is a shared network. While we cannot improve it directly, we will speak to the HOA about doing just that. Thank you again for the detailed feedback — we’ll address these items promptly.

Perfect for a few days on the coast

The condo had everything we were looking for: a nicely set up kitchen, comfy beds, and a great view. In addition to the easy beach access, it's just a parking lot away from two local restaurants and a short drive from Lincoln City. We loved our stay and would definitely return to explore the area more!

Great location and condo

This area is one of our favorite to visit on the coast. Love the restaurant, little store, ice cream truck (in the summer), and of course beach access all without needing to get in the car. The condo was a perfect set up for our family with 2 young kids.
