We were basically only at property to sleep as we were in the Hokianga for the country music festival, which was fantastic! The drive from property to town was easy. Lovely quiet place with bird chorus playing beautifully until we left for Opononi.TIP make sure you take fly spray, luckily we did, as ants are numerous. Only negative.

Lovely stay in Opononi

Gorgeous setting, cosy fire, and we loved the view, the hammock, and being able to walk down to the beach.

Our host was very accommodating -answered all our questions. The location was beautiful - great view of the bay and a perfect setting for star gazing on a clear night. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

Beautiful bush surrounded seclusion with magnificent view of the north side of Hokianga Harbour. House is modern, spacious and generously supplied with kitchen gear and out door loungers. We came when the tomatoes were ripe and they were a welcome addition to our salad. Beach access is for the sure footed. A lovely peaceful place to relax

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property itself is stunning — beautifully presented and set in an incredible location. Awesome stay

Awesome place to stay, great communication, peaceful spot, great place for kids also, I would definitely stay again. Only thing maybe get someone to clean and air out before having guest arrive as it smelt closed up for a longtime but was a great stay thank you

Great peaceful place

We found the house after a long drive at the end of the long road. It was a true haven. Stylish but not fancy, it was perfectly comfortable and we felt immediately at home. The kitchen and bathroom are perfectly designed.

School holiday escape

Loved the house, great kitchen for those who love to cook, private spot with stunning views. Short bush walk takes you down to the water. Amazing place and people were fantastic to deal with.
