Our host was welcoming. The house is well equipped. A couple of minor things that broke were rapidly repaired. So all in all a great place to stay with excellent proximity to the town and all its amenities.
This is a great little cottage. Clean, tidy, good for families and waking distance to Bathurst CBD. Great communication from the owner too. Would definitely stay again.
We loved this property. Everything was easy, the location was great and there were thoughtful touches everywhere like coffee machine and pods and little snacks. Will definitely stay here again when next in Bathurst!
Great cottage, close to facilities and plenty of room
We had a lovely stay for 4 nights at the Modern Victoria. It is located in a great spot, walking distance to cafes, pubs and shops. The home was well-equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Often it is hard to find accommodation suitable for a young family and dog, but this ticked all the boxes.
We enjoyed our stay, especially the location and the secure back yard for our dog. The house was very clean except for dirty frying pan and saucepan which had been put away without being washed. They were covered in baked on food. As it is the middle of winter we appreciated the heater, air conditioning and electric blankets.
Quaint, good presentation, good location. Comfy beds, great for a young family. Not suitable for elderly folk as floors from kitchen to living areas were at different heights, accessed via one small step which was in fact a trip hazard.
Great stay at this lovely, renovated cottage in Bathurst. Clean, tidy and very central. An easy walk into the centre of town. Glenda was quick to respond to any questions and very helpful. Highly recommended if you’re travelling to Bathurst.
This heritage property is thoughtfully renovated to make it comfortable for modern use. There was plenty of outdoor play area for our dog. The host Glenda is very attentive. We had an issue when we arrived and Glenda resolved it very promptly.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication
Nice comfortable warm beds. i didn't like the bathroom. Hard to adjust water temperature , old shower and no bath for the children
The house was in a good location and we could walk to most shops, clubs, restaurants, etc.
Clean, tidy and well layed out.
Only other comment was it was very hot weather so the single split was good for the living area but the bedrooms were a bit hot overnight.
Location was excellent. Had most of what we needed however it tended to be on the bare minimum side of supplies ( one hand towel in the bathroom was not enough, one tea towel in the kitchen, same story. ) small shortcomings I know but it would have made a difference to have a few extra towels etc. Aircons in all bedrooms was good, beds comfortable. Charging stations for phones a bonus. Overall we all enjoyed our stay. One guest ended up leaving her hairdryer there and mistakenly now has yours I think?! A win for you as hers was much newer.
Comfortable, cosy and calm.
Brightly decorated; beautifully appointed; great attention to detail; great location; very suitable for a longer stay.
The second toilet (outside) is wecome.
There are one or two small steps between the living areas and taller people may need to watch their heads in the doorway to the bathroom. The beds are a little short but are extremely comfortable with lovely bedlinen and pillows.
Great communication from the host.
We enjoyed it very much. We will definately return when we are in this corner of the world.
Thank you.
From the moment we walked in, such a great feel! So clean and so much detail (towels rolled nicely on each bed, a range of 8 different teas, Nespresso coffee machine with pods, hygiene products in bathroom) Each room had a portable fan which was nice and also a portable charger in each room!!! Overall, such a beautiful home! Glenda was so quick with her replies and offered to advise us of any needs we may have had! I would absolutely 110% recommend anyone wanting to stay at a clean, cosy and beautiful home to stay here! Location is great, quick walk to the cafes/pubs. As we were in Bathurst for the Proctor Cup (soccer) we were a quick 5 minute drive from the fields. One thing and one thing only I would recommend to the host, a few more tea towels would be great! 10/10
