Wonderful property! Had everything we needed, was clean and very comfortable. Check in was super easy and host was etremely responsive. Thank you for an amazing stay!
We needed a large house with a central location for our family weekend with life-long friends from Denmark. The house and beautiful property were perfect! The grounds, the stream, the pickleball court, as well as the spacious house allowed us to spread out, as well as enjoy time and meals together.

Wedding Weekend
Beautiful location for the family of the bride to stay before and after the wedding. The owner allowed my daughter to be photographed on site which was beautiful and made our day go so much more smoothly.
We came to visit Reading and join a family reunion. This was a special place for two families to share. We cooked there and avoided the expense of eating out. Cooking and laughing together was great. Lots of room to play games at night. Super place for children to play outdoors. Very close to shopping and markets.
Moving to the south from the area of our stay has been difficult and this property was just what we needed. Although we don’t like the cold anymore it offered us a chance to relive for a few days what life was like the first 70 years. I t was spacious and a little challenging with the steps but it was a very pleasant experience
Lovely property, all love the house. Once my family had a good night's sleep in the very comfy beds they were ready to go.
The children played hid and go seek inside since it was a very hot weekend but had the best time. They even put the technology down. No one care about watching tv.
Property as described. Big old house on 7 acres. Well appointed kitchen, fun creek on the property. We enjoyed the back deck watching/listening to a nested eagle along with deer and lots of bird varieties. Although home is buy a busier road as mentioned in one of the other reviews you could not hear it in the house. Great communication with property management. I would recommend this property 💜

Big house with plenty of room
This is an old home with lots of doors, creaky floors and an abundance of space. THe beds are ok; the bed in the front of the house made so much noise (I think it was the box) that no one could sleep on it. There is a bedroom in the loft but that was locked, if that bedroom is unavailable then it shouldn’t be on the homes listing. The bathrooms upstairs need an overhaul. One of the showers smells horrible! The downstairs was beautiful.
Lovely home and property but needed less intrusions
The home was an older house, full of charm and very spacious. It did need some TLC, but that wasn't surprising in an older home. The property was beautiful and overall I would recommend it, especially for larger families. My one issue was the owner's repeated intrusions. They text while I was driving there on Friday to ask when I would arrive because they were doing yardwork. They text on Saturday to say they would be on property (outside) from 10 until 2. Someone randomly showed up on Sunday for a few minutes. Then, at 10:30pm on Sunday I got another text saying they would be on site at 7:30 am and asked when I was checking out. I paid to stay from 3pm (listed check-in) on Friday until 10am (listed check-out) on Monday. Maintenence should not have been scheduled during my paid stay. We actually left eariler than planned on Monday because of the intrusion. Please, respect the privacy of paying customers who visit your rental property.
We had a group of guys get together for a weekend. We had a great time. Beautiful property, the outside needs a little upkeep but that may have also been because of the time or year we visited. The house and property are very spacious. Plenty of parking space. I know we had a out 8 cars there at one point and still had plenty of space. Kitchen has what you need to be able to cook. Plenty of beds and towels and linens. The beds were very comfortable. The only really problem I had with the house was the water pressure for the one shower and the bathroom setup in general. The main bedroom has its own small bathroom but the water pressure for the shower was very low. And the other community bathroom was split into two. One room was just the toilet and the other room was everything else. The toilet was connected for the bathroom in one side and a room in the other which made it a little weird. But the house served our needs very well. The outside set up was very nice and it did have a grill and firepit contrary to the listings. Furniture was very comfortable. All the rooms had plenty of space to relax. We even put up another 6 foot table in the sun room. The house was beautiful
The property has glorious old trees and a wonderful creek.
Had a great time just relaxing and enjoying the grounds.
The only drawback is the road noise but the home is such a neat old place with such great character.
