Mr Blackgordon is a beautiful property. It’s exactly as seen in the photos. Communication with Craig was easy. Everything has been sensitively thought of from the beautiful linens to the eco friendly products. The bed was one of the comfiest I have slept on. The fireplace was fantastic and kept the place cosy. The view from high up on the hill is the magnificent and can be enjoyed from both bedrooms and the living room. You won’t want to leave it. Get yourselves some fresh oysters from Boomer bay or one of the many petrol stations that sell them. Grab a crisp white wine or sparkling ( the possibilities are endless in Tassie) and sit down to take in the view. You’ll be there for hours!!

Beautiful house and stay

We had a lovely time staying here, it was so peaceful and relaxing which is just what we needed. The house provided everything and had great attention to detail. The fire pit and indoor fire were amazing and made the stay more comforting. Tip: There are limited (affordable) shops close by so recommend stocking up before arriving but this isn’t on the host, just more of a heads up. Highly recommend and would love to stay again

The view!

A stunning little cottage with a view to die for. Spend a peaceful and relaxing eveningsipping wine in front of the wood fire. Linen and bedding was of high quality. 100% would stay here again. The only thing missing is a split system for instant heating/cooling as the weather can change fast.
