Wonderful Stay

We spent 4 nights at this lovely beach home and can’t say enough good things about he property and it’s owner. The accommodations were comfortable and had a cozy and stylish vibe. The owner provides all the comforts of home and extra touches such as bottled water, popcorn and plenty of Keurig coffee servings. There were spices galore for cooking, soft bedding, lots of cozy blankets, heaters in the bedrooms, ample toiletries and a personalized welcome note with fresh flowers waiting for us. If you are looking to stay somewhere that feels like a home rather than staying in a sterile motel room or the typical, shell-decorated beach cabin, then this is the place for you! Book your stay at this beach house without hesitation; you will be glad you did!

Seaview Getaway

This house was probably built in the 1930's with some updating, but not enough for long term stays. The flooring in the living room and bedrooms need to be replaced. They are old, splattered with paint and very hard to maintain. The bathroom has a make-shift shower that is made out of a 30's claw foot tub. It is badly stained and unsafe for anyone...slippery and no grab bars. You're constantly having to make sure that the water does not leak through the surrounding curtain otherwise you have to spend time on your hands and knees trying to wipe it up. The bottom of the tub is slippery it would be easy to fall and hit your head. It needs to be replaced with a regular shower. Kitchen -- been using VRBO for 12 years and we found this kitchen to be one of the best stocked of all. The negative is the oven needs to be cleaned. Very small dishwasher, but adequate for 2 people. There is a washer/dryer combo. But after using it a few times we found it easier to go to the Laundromat. The Combo takes up to 3 hours to do one small load. Outside maintenance is non-existent. After paying close to $4000 per month, I didn't feel it was our responsibility to pull weeds, trim plants, or maintain the outside of the premises. Nobody took care of it and by the end of our stay, it appeared nobody cared. Inside still needs a lot of work. There are areas of missing finishing trim boards on ceilings and floor. Mold on inside due to moisture around windows.
