Had a little trouble locating the cabin...Google Maps did not help very much. Once we got to the place, however we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's a good location - very peaceful and quiet.
We enjoyed our stay at this small house with personality. Eclectic decor, a great gas fireplace, private wooded setting are all great. The house was supplied with adequate but not a huge amount of cooking dishes, and plenty of linens, soaps/ dish soap, paper products etc. Plus some nice extras like a bottle of wine! A lot of the soap products are fragranced so if you have fragrance alllergies, I’d bring your own products. Black mountain is a small town with several good restaurants, some walking / hiking trails/ parks nearby, and some cute artsy shops. More outdoor adventures and towns are nearby as well. Overall it was a peaceful and relaxing private stay in an adorable town.
