Visit to Greenville

From the pictures and even from the outside, the property looks charming. The house was fine for the 5 of us staying, but the beds were miserable to sleep in and the bathroom left a little to be desired. The protective covering and the plastic wrap left on the mattresses caused sleeping to be a challenge. The crinkling sound was bad enough, but the two layers covering the mattress caused sleeping to be extremely hot and uncomfortable. The mattress can't breathe and causes immense sweating. As far as the bathroom, it's too small for a 3-bedroom home and the toilet leaks at the base. With a little work, this home could be a nice rental.

Overall we were happy to find a 3 BDROOM available for 4 adults with short notice. We were visiting our dad in the hospital. Please check admin fees before booking. I remember thinking they were no small fees. Small coffee maker and filters were available (with instant coffee). We make meals at home but unfortunately kitchen isn't equipped with many essentials. Mold inside one cabinet where someone most likely put a freshly washed dish or cup away still wet. We laid a paper towel over it. No bathroom or kitchen spray for cleaning/disinfecting. Dish soap and hand soap were available. No hair dryer which is unusual. Although towels and laundry pods & washer/dryer were available. Thank you for the WIFI. Older homes sometimes have unique smells. This one was no exception. Beds were comfortable.

Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following:- We strive to be transparent with our guests at every stage of the booking process and break down all rates and fees before the reservation is confirmed. We'd like to note that the service fee goes directly to Vrbo and not Evolve or the homeowner.- We stock the kitchen with all the necessities that one would normally use. Additional items can be accommodated on request. We would have been more than happy to accommodate your needs if you asked.- Cleanliness and sanitization is one of our top priorities. All kitchen spray and disinfectants were located in the middle bedroom closet and free for guest use. We have since placed the disinfectant spray on the bathroom and kitchen counter for guests to use. We appreciate the feedback to improve for future guests.- We do not advertise our home to have a hairdryer, but will certainly include one for guests in the future.- We encourage guests to reach out with any concerns while in residence so we have the opportunity to make things right - the local contact would have been happy to assist with any of these issues. We are unaware of any odor in our home as we have essential oils in the front room when first entering the house. We apologize if you encountered an unpleasant odor. This has not been brought to our attention in the past. That being said, we plan on looking into each one of your concerns to ensure that future guests do not share your experience.Thank you for sharing your review. Your feedback assists us in understanding our guests' perspectives and improving wherever possible. We hope to host you again soon.
