Beautiful home on Lake Dora in a great location close to the town of Mount Dora. The home was nicely decorated and immaculate and the beds and linens were so comfortable. We loved the views of the lake and the deck with a bench to sit on to take in the surroundings. The whole area is beautiful. We had a fantastic time and be sure to rent a catboat to tour Lake Dora.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect. The owners also provided some coffee, seasonings and cleaning supplies which we have not seen in other rentals. We rent every summer and this home has more supplies than any other place we've ever rented. It made for a great week.

Brought our boat. Boat ramp was close. Home is well equipped and clean. Nice dock. Most everything was new. We have a VRBO place and these folks know how to do it right! Highly recommend! Very nice place.

Quiet residential with a Lakeview!

If fishing and relaxing are on your agenda, this is a perfect home. Mid-century modern furnishings and updated in all the right places. Centrally located in the Harris chain of lakes. Close to Mt Dora with an abundance of boutiques and restaurants. A leisurely boat ride through the canals was most enjoyable. The owner and the manager checked in with is at the right time to make sure we had everything we needed.

Deco dream on the water

This is our second time staying in this dream of a house. Beautiful decorated, thoughtfully curated, stocked with everything for the whole family! We loved the house, the space, the comfy cotton sheets and beautifully decorated home, stick of game, fully supplied kitchen and bbq, they have thought of it all! The yard and dock are dreamy and large enough for a multi family gathering. We brought the boat and just enjoyed every minute. The Evolve team are on top of everything and always willing to help. Thanks for another wonderful holiday ♥️

Beautiful waterfront home with gorgeous sunsets

Came to town to celebrate a family member’s 80th birthday and needed a comfortable gathering place for the family. This lovely home was perfect for allowing my family to all be together. The home was decorated beautifully, with new, cozy furnishings. It was located right on Lake Dora and very conveniently located between Mount Dora and Tavares, allowing quick access to all the fun happenings that take place. We were able to sit out on the dock and enjoy a gorgeous sunset and even watch a plane land as the sun was setting. How cool is that!!! The check in and check out process was very easy. The host had a binder nicely prepared with wonderful information about the area and contacts for all your needs that might be necessary. The house had everything we needed. Very well thought out. There was even a darling sign that listed local restaurant ideas. The signage around the house was very helpful. We loved this place and didn’t want to leave. In addition, the host was very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. We look forward to the next time we are back in town and hope to stay even longer.

We absolutely loved our stay at Heron Hideaway! The place was beautiful, well decorated, pristinely clean, well stocked kitchen and lots of little touches that made our stay comfortable! We loved watching sunsets on the dock, playing foosball, and exploring downtown Mt Dora! We will definitely be back - hosts were wonderful and so accommodating!
