The cottage was comfy, we booked it for the quiet and the hot tub apron arrival the hot tub was not warming up and eventually the jets didn't turn on somit was unusable for our stay
Beautiful cabin, but the road leading up to the cabin was a bit challenging on motorcycles.

Needs some TLC!
The cabin itself is clean. But, there needs maintenance done to sink, eaves, fire place guard, and especially hot tub. We did get in touch with the cleaning people and they were very friendly and helpful but still couldn't get the hot tub to work. If owner gets all of the maintenance done and the TLC needed for the cabin, it will be a great place to stay again.

From the owner:
"Thank you so much for your feedback. We truly appreciate you bringing these maintenance concerns to our attention. We’re sorry to hear the hot tub and other areas weren’t up to standard during your stay. We’re glad our cleaning team was able to assist, even though the issue couldn’t be resolved at the time.
We want you to know that we’ll be closing the cabin for the next six months to focus on addressing these issues and making necessary repairs and upgrades, including the hot tub, sink, eaves, and fireplace guard. Our goal is to make sure future guests have the best possible experience.
We hope you were still able to enjoy your time at the cabin, and we would love the opportunity to host you again once everything has been refreshed and updated. Thank you again for your honest review and understanding!"
We were very pleased with this property. It was very cozy and simple. Just what we were looking for. The cabin was very clean and actually ready a little early for us to check in. The housekeeping did a wonderful job. Definitely will rent again. Great weekend!
We had an amazing time at the cabin. Our family of 6 had everything we needed for the perfect retreat. The arcade games and outside game room were a nice surprise for our boys, and the furniture was the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced in a vacation rental. We will go back!
Overall pretty good experience. Hot tub didnt look clean enough to use. Water damage to main bedroom wall. Wifi was basically nonexistent, maybe due to usage cap. Made it an inconvenience to plan out our days. The only other thing i will say is there should be something in the listing about the driveway being so steep. Glad we brought the vehicle we did because the car would have never made it.

Everything was great, but I would have liked to have been warned about the final road leading up to the cabin. It was a little tricky on motorcycles.

Vacation
The property was a great place to stay overall. With some work we would return. The ad for the property needs to be updated. I think you need a better house keeper, there was grease on the stove under the rings for the burners, someone stayed with an animal prior to us and there was vomit behind the dresser in the bedroom, the one to the right, to do better on supplies such as toilet paper, to have a better variety of kitchen extras, and dishes etc... we never could find where to turn on the deck lights. Overall have better instructions on the use of lights, ceiling fans, etc... If your going to have games, make sure that they work, or have instructions on how to use them. I think if your going to have a foosball table make sure to supply balls for it. Lastly remove the hot tub from the premises, it doesn't work and it takes up deck space.

The cabin had plenty of room for my husband, myself, and our 2 teenage nephews. It’s dog friendly. Communication was very good with the property manager. They replied to my texts/concerns and tried to work to find solutions. The location isn’t bad, decent distance to Gatlingburg. Not much of a view from the cabin though.
The cabin needs repairs/updates. Several lights did not work (including some in the game room, living room and kitchen. But we still had enough lighting in those areas. The AC unit seemed to be leaking and water was leaking through the floor in the bedroom with the king size bed. By our third night, that room smelled weird, probably from the water underneath the floor. The property manager did send someone to go check the issue, but 1. it is uncomfortable to have someone come out when you’re not in the cabin and you have personal belongings, so I requested if they could wait until we checked out the next am, but the HVAC guy showed up as we were packing up getting ready to check out. Also, one of the gaming arcades did not work at all, there were no balls for the foosball, a few of the tv remotes did not work and one of them was wet from the inside, probably leaky old batteries, but the property manager did send us new batteries and foosball balls the next day. The beds are also old and make a lot noise, not comfy.
Overall, it has potential but needs updates and repairs.
