18 Irene Crescent - pet friendly holiday home

Located in a beautiful part of Port Stephens and just a 15-minute drive to the heart of Nelson Bay or 10-minute drive to the hub of Salamander Bay where you will find the major shopping area for the peninsula. Soldiers Point Bowling Club and Rick Stein Bannisters is all within a quick 5 minute walk.

Spread over two levels with an open plan lounge area downstairs with slate flooring throughout, this area is perfect to sit back and relax and read a book and opens out onto one of the outdoor dining alfresco areas and enclosed yard which is great for your fur baby to run around and the children to play.

Upstairs is cosy and comfortable with timber floors and a split system air-conditioned living area with a TV and DVD player, fully equipped kitchen with complete cooking facilities, family size fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. There is another balcony off this area with dining facilities.

Three bedrooms all with ceiling fans and the main bedroom also having a TV. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath, vanity, and separate toilet. There is another shower and toilet located downstairs in the laundry area, the laundry provides a top loader washing machine and dryer.

Parking in the driveway for two vehicles or a small boat and street parking for a larger boat. The water’s edge is located a quick five-minute walk away and Soldiers Point Marina and boat ramp are both only a couple of minutes’ drive from the property.
This property is in a fantastic position with all amenities close by.

Our stay
A couple of complaints 1. After driving for 12 hrs we arrived at the house at 5 PM not knowing that the lock box, for which we had just received instructions was a 15 min drive away which of course cost us and extra 30 mins on arrival and also departure so another hour over what was a look trip. 2. The DVD player did not work 3. The lower toilet/bathroom door does not close 4. No salt, pepper or sugar apart from a couple of small packs of sugar in arrival kit that lasted one day. Otherwise it was fine for us.
