Snowmobile Access: Continue down Sunset Ln (not Marbles Way) to the parking lot by the Lakehouse Condos' dumpsters. That short path takes you right to the main trail. Please do not ride on the other lots in the neighborhood - you can ride on Marbles Way and Sunset to get on the trails.
NO LAKE IS EVER "SAFE"!
Please do not attempt to walk, ski or ride snowmobiles on the lakes unless you are absolutely sure that the ice conditions will support you and your equipment. Rangeley has plenty of trails on land for snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoeing and walking. If you must ride on the lakes, please use caution.

Amazing Place

Great house, close to the lake and easy access to the snowmobile trails. Enough stay space to store a 4 place trailer and turn around. Close to town but also feel like your not close to it either as it's a private area.

July 4th getaway

Clean, well appointed home. Dog friendly. Only a few minutes walk to town. Trail located behind property to shared beach access. Wonderful location and friendly locals- not too crowded. Great size rental if everyone needs their space.

Very Comfortable in Rangeley

We spent a week in the Rangeley Lakes area. The home’s location was a perfect hub for our travels. The house was simple, clean, well-laid-out, and had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were very comfortable. We would easily try to rent again if/when we return to the area. The only drawback is likely not the fault of the owners. The advertised walking path to town was narrow and muddy, so we turned back after a few steps. The path could use some trimming and a hefty layer of wood chips. The walk from the house on Marbles Way to Main Street was very nice, though.

Rangeley Village Retreat

Great location. Convenient to lake, town and Saddleback. Quiet. Very nicely appointed. Plenty of towels, dishes, blankets, etc. Nice appliances. House is well laid out. Great to be able to bring pets. Few things to fix. Closet door in primary bedroom did not stay on track and could be dangerous if children were playing around in the room. Primary bedroom door didn't latch closed. Same with other bedroom doors. The TVs were a challenge casting and streaming shows using Roku. Adding Direct TV or a basic cable package wouldn't be that expensive and would be a client satisfier. We were there during March Madness and our live streaming/casting kept halting. Maybe increase internet? We did lose internet on Friday into Saturday during our stay. Probably due to high winds. Overall, very nice place.
