Wake up slowly and make yourself a Nespresso to enjoy on the wraparound deck, and when the urge strikes to have your first swim of the day, you can grab a towel and walk just five minutes to the beautiful Bay to cool off and soak up the sun, or a short drive to the beautiful sands of Callala Beach. Afterwards, rinse off in one of the three showers and decide how to spend the rest of your day in one of the most beautiful places in the country.
Stay inside comfortably on cooler days near the combustion fire and relax in front of the TV. There are three separate living areas each with a smart TV with streaming services, including a huge rumpus room with table tennis, a pool table, and bikes to explore the town. Eleven people can spread out across the property together or apart – there’s a gazebo with not one but two hammocks for anyone looking for a quiet read or a nap with birdlife flitting around, and plenty of tables to play board games.
When mealtimes come around, cook up a storm on the BBQ to enjoy on the outdoor dining table with pets playing in the fully-fenced grassed backyard, or make use of the fully furnished kitchen. End each day around the firepit and watch the stars emerge above your heads in a gorgeous display of the Milky Way with your favourite people around you. Everything you could possibly want for the ultimate coastal holiday is provided at Callala Calm, where you’ll have a stay that you won’t soon forget.

Our stay was great. The house has everything you need for a small or large group and was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked
I stayed with a small group of friends, but can see this being a great place for large family or a couple of families. There is enough space for everyone.

We had a great time at callala calm. The house is a great place and plenty of room for 10 people. The seperate studio and games room shed is awesome. The use of the bikes to get around was a bonus and being dog friendly to top it off

I am so happy I got this place. It was very clean, very big house! Heaps of amenities included. I'm definitely going to look at staying here again. So close to the shops and beach. Heaps of car space. Very modern, very comfortable beds.... Just overall really impressed. My husband and brother in laws loved the pool table and ping pong table.

The house had some good amenities - lots of games and space, fairly new bathrooms - but the kitchen looked like an amateur DIY project - especially the island! Also - they really need new cutlery instead of cheap mismatched pieces.The games shed hadn't been cleaned so there were empty beer cans and what looked like a half smoked joint on the window sill.The BBQ was really dirty and the knobs were broken so dangerous to use.The range hood was so disgustingly dirty when you turned it on rancid oil dropped onto stove top.The dishwasher was useless - the spray arms were blocked so nothing really got cleaned. Definitely needs a descale to fix that!Gave it 3 stars as the location was good, there was lots of space and the main house was clean when we arrived ( they had done their best with the kitchen) , but never booking that house again and will not be booking Professional Holiday Homes if I can avoid it.

The shed contents and BBQ/rangehood condition you’ve described are not acceptable standards and will be addressed with our cleaning and maintenance teams. Likewise, if the dishwasher was not performing due to blocked spray arms, that is a maintenance issue that should be logged for attention.
As a reminder, any issues during a stay must be reported on the day they occur so we can attend to them while you are in-house. If something is unsafe or unhygienic (for example, broken BBQ knobs or leftover items in a shed), it should be raised immediately so it can be rectified as a priority.
We note your decision regarding future bookings, and if your expectations require a different standard or a newer, fully renovated kitchen fit-out, we recommend choosing a property that explicitly advertises that level of finish.
Overall the house was lovely to stay in. The 3 bathrooms were a big plus for a large group and the games room and extra amenities (?xbox) were very handy on a rainy day. The parrots that visited the garden to be fed were a delight to the children and adults in the group. Undercover parking for 4 vehicles was great too. Only (slight) downside was that the house was in parts a little tired e.g. the kitchen extraction fan sounded like 747 on take-off, and trying to work the (many) stiff door/window locks with the many keys provided was tedious. The bay beach within walking distance to the house is not a great swimming beach, but it is only a 10 min trip to the main swimming beach

A gem of a place to spend quality time with you near and dear ones
It was a superb place to stay with family and friends. It had all the facilities required to have a comfortable stay. The games room was a big hit. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the separate bedroom. The kitchen had all the things required. Overall the property was very nice. The check in process and the communication was fantastic. To top it all, it is a pet friendly property which is a big plus.
Not a few shortcomings. The bunk bed in one of the bedrooms was very squeaky and we found it extremely hard to sleep on it. The toilet seat in one of the bathroom was a bit broken and was a hazard. The driveway to the property needs a bit of an improvement.
But, we had a wonderful time spent with our dear ones and will definitely look at visiting the place again.
