With a stylish interior, the home features a well-equipped entertainer’s kitchen, complete with new appliances to add a modern touch to the space. A central island welcomes you to sit with your coffee in the morning, transforming into the perfect place to serve up a glass of wine and a platter laden with local produce come the evening time.

Thanks to spacious open-plan living, the kitchen blends seamlessly into the immaculately presented living room. Styled for class and comfort, the living room will become your haven for all things relaxation. Indulge in a few chapters of your book, turn on the Smart TV and watch the latest Netflix release, or use the complimentary WIFI to post your holiday snaps - the choice is yours.

You’ll be kept cosy or cool all year round, thanks to a couple of heat pumps and additional heating options for the bedrooms.

The sound system is a welcome addition for days indoors, or simply relax in the courtyard, fire up the outdoor fireplace, and toast some marshmallows while you talk the night away under the stars.

With four spacious bedrooms and three indulgent bathrooms, Matakana Retreat comfortably accommodates up to nine guests. Perfect for families, the house is family friendly with toys and plenty of space to run around outside. A high chair and travel cot can be made available upon request!

A manicured yard at the front of the property features a trampoline, perfect for the kids, and an outdoor setting inviting you to dine alfresco on those warm summer evenings. Partially-fenced with your safety and security in mind, guests are welcome to park their cars or boat on the private driveway.

When you get back from a day of adventures, Matakana Retreat boasts a wash-down bay in the driveway for your up-to-5m vessel. Then before you head inside you can cook up your fresh catch on the BBQ or better yet, smoke it using the fish smoker.

Just 5-minutes from the ever-popular Matakana markets, trendy restaurants and cafes, and delightful boutique shopping, Matakana Retreats location is unbeatable. Venturing further afield will find you at some of the finest beaches in the region, as well as vineyards and sculpture gardens. The gateway to Northland being just 30 minutes by car also means you can also take advantage of the wonders of The Winterless North.
