About this property

Spacious home in Heathcote township. Perfect for families and groups.

Escape to Heathcote in our spacious property that accommodates up to 9 people. With comfortable furnishings, you'll feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen & dining area make it easy to enjoy meals together, & the large living area provides plenty of space to relax. With four bedrooms and heaps of storage, this home is an excellent choice for large groups or families.

Our property is located within walking distance of local cafes, restaurants, & shops. You can explore nearby attractions such as Pink Cliffs, Chapoutier & Heathcote Wineries, Palling Bros Brewery, & Chauncy restaurant.

This 1970s house has recently undergone considerable renovation and offers an open living space for you to enjoy with your friends and family. Appliances and most kitchenware are all new in 2023, including a good air-con unit. Some vintage features remain with a small amount of 70's wallpaper and older carpets in bedrooms (in good condition) still in place. Also in 2023 the bathroom had a new bath and splashback tiles, new floor tiles and an updated vanity/basin and new toilet. The shower remains older and is not large, but it's clean and functional. An outdoor entertaining area exists, including BBQ, table and chairs. This area is clean and useful but still needs updating/beautifying.

The home is exclusively for guests to enjoy with no hosts on site, though we live only ten minutes away, and hence can provide support if required.

Please note: a fenced pool exists in the backyard, which is unuseable. It was to be removed but finding a reliable contractor to do it has proven difficult. The yard is also lacking any beautification and the boundary fencing is of poor quality, making it a concern to leave an escape-artist dog in it unattended. The neighbours also have dogs. A 2nd bathroom/ensuite exists, which is currently locked pending renovations being completed.

A spacious house in Heathcote

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious, kitchen well equipped, the beds comfy, and the property is so well situated for walking into the Main Street of Heathcote as well as driving to lots of local walking tracks. There is obviously still work to be done (eg the ensuite and main shower as mentioned in the property description) and it will be great to come back when these little changes are made to make the house even better
