Expensive renral, hard to find locatuin
Stayz comments about holiday house. It is a modern house and mostly clean. Where are 4th & 5th bedrooms and futons as advertised? Poor communication - had to ring to ask how balance would be paid. Then they took it out early, before it was due even though free cancellation period hadn't expired . Only explanation was it was their system issue. No office as advertised. Double garage but not available for carparking- full of a ping pong table and fuso table. Not told it wouldn't be available in ad. Only found out day before. Address of property not given out until 24 hours before start of booking along woth house manual. Only did get it from lady on phone when I insisted when final payment was made. The main bedroom is spacious with a small walk in wardrobe snd ensuite, though the toilet seat was broken. Bedroom 2 & 3 are very small and with queen beds they need sliding doors on wardrobes as the doors hit beds when opening. Very annoying for people in these rooms. Bedroom 2 (opposite bathroom the large chest of drawers needs to be moved so bedside table drawers open. Mattress in sevond bedroom very hard and uncomfortable, 3rd bedroom not used so don't know but it was e en smaller than the second. Power pounts in bedrooms not easily accessible. Only one smoke detector in whole place near front door. Scuff on wall in front hall and several in first bedroom and lounge room & dining room. Stain in toilet in ensuite plus toilet seat is loose, was promised it would be fixed and even told someone had come out to fix it during stay but wasn't true and no further communication from Stayz about it during rest of stay. Just ignored messages about it. No instructions for TV or microwave or expresso machine. No list of what was included in kitchen utensils. Expresso mavhine was not cleaned out and full of old coffee pods - a health hazard. Pots weren't clean and required a lot of cleaning before use. BBQ drip tray was full of grease snd required cleaning. Outdoor furniture too low and very uncomfortable and stained from being outside. Not enough seating for number of tenants advertised in advertisement. Instructions to find the street could include driveway NEXT to Fox Hat expresso cafe bar to make it easier to find since its not on GPS yet. No soap in handwash containers. Linen cupboard in laundry is locked so makes broom, Dustpan and vacuum sit untidily on laundry floor. Would be good to have list of dishes etc in kitchen so can check when incoming and outgoing. More than 2 sets cutlery would be nice so don't have to run dishwasher too often Stool for kitchen would be good for high cupboards where wine glasses etc are stored. Fire extinguisher and fire blanket should not be stored up in higher cupboards out of reach in an emergency. Pots dirty and charcoaled in side needung cleaning before use BBQ sort of clean but drip tray full of grease Toilet seat broken - not fixed as promised An awning over hot tub would make it more usesble especially in hot weather or cold weather.
