There were a number things not right when we arrived - a few broken items etc. The host was very responsive in getting things fixed. However overall we felt the house was tired for the money paid. It was obviously a party house - pool table smelt of stale beer. Guests found bedbugs in the downstairs beds.

Family Getaway

Great place to have the family all come together. Everything was well set up and established for our kids of all ages. Very clean and many essentials already provided. Would recommend this stay and likely to book again. Robert was very quick to respond and answer any questions we had.

Unfortunately we found the house to be dirty, with sticky floors, moldy shower walls and dirty furniture. The house also lacked amenities for the number of guests e.g. 3 normal knives, not enough coffee cups, very little tea, hard sugar and no coffee pods that fitted the machine. The host did come back to us regarding missing towels and WIFI not working though the communication was very slow. While the pool was clean and location perfect we would not stay here again.

Pleasant Melbourne stay with some frustrations included.

The house is large, with five bedrooms. Adequate space for a large group where everyone could have their own space. Pool (not heated or clean), large BBQ, fire pit (bring your own wood), outdoor area, pool table (cues without tips). Steep stairs inside. One large bathroom and a small shower/toilet facility in the laundry. Kitchen was well appointed. The tram was right outside and made the city easy to travel to. Some issues with sufficient hot water- all members of our party could not shower in the evening without it running out. I would recommend this property, however, I would probably choose another, if I was to travel with similar group size to Melbourne again.
