About this property

Peaceful country studio apartment.

Self-contained second floor (15 stairs) suite, suitable for 3 people. Sip your coffee on the screened-in porch, watch the birds at the feeders outside the kitchen window, try to catch a glimpse of deer, wild turkeys, snapping turtles as you walk to the pond. This is a restful space with lots of privacy and a place to get-away from the city. We are pet-friendly, but your dog must be on a leash at all times while on the property.

LGBTQ+ friendly.

The suite has a full kitchen, a renovated bathroom and a comfortable queen bed. We provide a thick air mattress or a toddler mattress for the third guest. Please let us know which mattress you require at time of booking.
The property is 24 acres and there are some walking trails throughout the property. It can be quite wet in the spring and fall so bring tall, waterproof boots if you are planning on exploring the property.
We live in the rest of the house so are available if you have any questions or concerns during your stay. There is NO TV in the suite. Please bring your own screened device. We offer a quiet, screen-free retreat.

Cozy country retreat. Worked well for our little dog as well. Very clean and well appointed. Minor suggestions would be to add a closet/wardrobe and ensure the light at top of stairs is working. All in all an enjoyable weekend.

I’m from Southern Ontario and my partner is from the west coast. We have lived in the Niagara region for almost 20 years. We have been short term rental hosts since 2020 and enjoy having folks be able to enjoy this rural space.

Why they chose this property

We love living in the country and growing some of our own food. The birds and wild life are lovely and we enjoy having expansive views.

What makes this property unique

Swallow Meadows Farm is a 24 acres, unique vacation rental because it is rural but has amenities 5 minutes away. We are located in the centre of the Niagara peninsula which provides many opportunities to explore. Our suite is quiet and relaxing. The property offers walking paths and a small pond at the rear of the property.
