Owner listed a hot tub but there wasn't one. When we requested a discount for the missing amenity (we booked this listing with excitement to enjoy a hot tub by the beach), owner admitted that the advertisement was false but dismissed us, saying that if the hot tub was a "selling feature" that there would have been a photo of it in the ad... yeah.
Lots of dog hair on the floor and furniture (we did not travel with a dog). Dirty pans in the cupboard. Poor mattresses.
Many other properties in the area have this owners signage on it. This is not a loved private property and feels like a cheap hotel room. Owner does not care about your stay.
Stars provided were for the lovely beach and ease of access.
Note: for all of the properties we've rented until now, we've never rated a property below five stars.
