The house was quirky and cosy and had everything we needed for a multigenerational family stay. It has the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen at a holiday property and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful stay, Sweetwater was just the serenity we needed for a week of soul nurturing. Fabulously appointed kitchen for our group of five friends to share cooking and we loved the roomy outdoor space and fire pit. Lovely rooms, very comfy beds/linen and plenty of wood for the fireplaces. The bird life, sunrises, walks to the beautiful waterfall and swimming hole were a highlight. Catherine and Dean are wonderful hosts, couldn't ask for more.

We just stayed in this property for a long weekend with our extended family. The house is lovely with each room beautifully decorated and so thoughtfully set-up for guests. The beds were all very comfortable with plenty of blankets provided. There was also plenty of firewood provided for the indoor fireplaces and outdoor fire pit.There was an easy walk to a waterfall on-site, plenty of wildlife, a bird feeder with instructions for guests to feed the birds daily, and lots of room for the kids to run around.Catherine the host was very accomodating and always answered any communication straight away. We had a great stay in this beautiful property and we are definitely keen to make this an annual family trip.

Weekend at Sweetwater

Excellent property, has everything you need to enjoy a country stay. Six friends, each had our own sleeping space, very comfortable beds . Excellent facilities inside and out, beautiful waterfall . A few of us enjoyed the weekend without leaving property but only 10 minutes from Maleny for those of us that sought longer walks . Highly recommend

our family had amazing long weekend away, the property is amazing the walks were great(in between showers of rain) the waterfall was running, just beautiful .the home is set up for large groups ,we had 10 in our family and had plenty of room to move around, we enjoyed ourselves . Hope to make it a yearly family getaway. Thank you
