What a wonderful stay! First off, the communication was excellent. Secondly, the apartment was so warm and welcoming - beautifully decorated with many special touches that made it feel so homey. The kitchen was fully equipped. We appreciated the many "little things" eg. the homemade muffins, the packages of hot chocolate and ingredients for smores. There was tea, coffee, condimentsand so many other items if people needed them. We also enjoyed playing one of the games from the vast selection. Lisa and Scott have thought of everything and more to help people feel at home here and we certainly did. We can't say enough good things about our stay here! We highly recommend staying here!

Lisa has so many extra touches such as muffins, butter and a card to welcome us to their lovely home. It is a bright clean spacious place with very comfortable beds. Lots of items in the kitchen, games for entertainment and fans if required. Lisa sent clear instructions on how to get in and had a book with local activities and places to eat. We would highly recommend staying at this beautiful place in Bonavista.

Lisa and Scott moved to Bonavista in the Summer of 2021 and haven't looked back. Lisa is originally from Newfoundland, but has lived away for most of her life. Scott is an honourary Newfoundlander and loves living in this beautiful province! Together they enjoy all the outdoor fun that Newfoundland and specifically the Bonavista peninsula have to offer. Both owners love to socialize and get to know visitors from away, so feel free to reach out with any questions!

Why they chose this property

The former owners of this property established one of the first Bed and Breakfasts in Bonavista, which operated for almost 30 years at this location. Lisa and Scott loved the property's ocean view and especially the location being so close to Cape Bonavista, Dungeon Provincial Park and the lovely Cape Shore Trail. It is a perfect place to relax after touring the many historical and natural attractions in the area.

What makes this property unique

This location is unique, being one of the vacation properties closest to the Cape and all of the beautiful natural scenery in the area. Yet, it is a very short drive or 2km walk to the center of Bonavista.
