Comfortable and clean beds. Nice towels and linens. Kitchen is well equipped, and there are lots of plates, bowls, silverware. Washer and dryer in kitchen. Excellent location within walking distance of Denison, downtown Granville, the walking path, the Station and grocery store.
Fully equipped kitchen with ample seating. Coffee machine and coffee was provided. Comfortable seating around the TV room. Options for board games. Great location! We had a wonderful stay!
Absolutely perfect location for families visiting Denison. We were able to walk to everything! this updated kitchen has more dishes than a catering company! I have never seen such a well stocked kitchen and a rental home! The host is very responsive and made sure we were having an excellent weekend. We would recommend this to all friends and family andwill certainly be back!
My family and I stayed at the Porch House for a short visit to Granville to watch a local event at Denison University. We enjoyed the stay and convenient access to the downtown area.
The Porch House is beautifully appointed and ideally located on a lovely street in Granville. It was the perfect spot to spend Denison Parents' Weekend. Thank you so much for a delightful stay!
We were visiting family in the Granville area over the Easter holiday, and the Porch House couldn't have been a better choice. Spacious for our family of 5 with three bedrooms and 3 baths. We have stayed in countless rentals and we all agreed this house was the best stocked with dishes, bath towels, soaps - everything you could need. And the walking location to downtown Granville was perfect. We have family in the area and plan to reserve the Porch House when we visit in the future.
The house was everything we needed. My son attends Denison University, and we needed to stay near campus so I could take care of him while he recuperated from surgery and still attend classes. It worked out great and Bruce and Lisa were very accommodating. We look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful Home in the Heart of Granville
We were in Granville to visit our son. This was a great home for adults to stay. We had plenty of room to spread out and we were all able to gather in the main living room to watch football and enjoy each other’s company. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. The showers were hot and the towels were very plush. Use caution booking with small children due to many antiques that are displayed throughout the house. I was cautious about my mom who is blind knocking something over. But it definitely adds to the overall vibe of the house. And my mom loved the memories many of the items brought back to her. We especially loved all of the needlepoint. We made some amazing memories on the porch, and around the large dining room table. There was a wonderful selection of coffees and teas. Plenty of dishes, cups, and cookware. Nice size kitchen for cooking. My only complaint is there wasn’t enough cooking utensils and serving spoons. I am staying here again soon and I plan on bringing some with me. It didn’t deter my staying there again. We met the owner who was very kind. We knew if we needed anything he’d be accommodating- but nothing was needed as it was a flawless stay.
