You will love this sweet home just minutes from downtown Picton and walking distance from Base 31, Prince Edward County’s hottest new cultural and food destination!

This property is in a quiet neighbourhood and has open fields in the backyard with incredible views. There is a large deck in the backyard, where you can enjoy stunning sunsets over the bbq or firepit and also gaze at the stars!

The Space:
This home has been completely renovated recently with two washrooms (full bathroom upstairs with a soaker tub and shower, and a powder room on the main level). All rooms have closet space, and one also has a work desk and work chair. The kitchen is well stocked and fully furnished with a dishwasher. There are even some fun toys for small kids in the kids' bedroom closet!

The house was very nice, exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable and sheets and towels were good quality. There was amazing shopping on the Main Street but you will have to drive. The neighbourhood is quiet with amazing views from the back yard. The living room is okay with a comfortable couch but the chairs were weird, kept sliding out of them and the TV is very small.

Family get away in the county late June

We know the county well but had not been for a few years, it was so nice to be here again! The house is bright and airy with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Backyard has a nice view since you are at a high point in Picton and the downtown area is a short but steep walk away. We had just a few days but made it a point to Sandbanks. Highly recommend the Millers House at Lake on the Mountain, stunning view from the patio and good charcuterie. Kinsip Distillery is a good spot, not just for the spirits, they have a variety of chickens roaming around and highly entertaining to watch, peacocks, and a BBQ truck if you need something to eat. If you like sparking wines go to Hinterland. We also stopped at Mad Dog Gallery for a look and wandered around their beautiful garden complete with pond with fish and frogs. We won't wait for years to come back for another visit to the county.
