The home is lovely, location takes a little getting use to, the drive. Enjoyed morning sitting at the table with a cup of coffee looking at the mountain peaks.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cozy home. The view from the back deck added to the relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely return when we visit the Catskills again!
Very nice updated bathrooms with a super walk in shower in one of them. Also a great updated kitchen with every appliance you would need. The beds were very comfortable and good sized bedrooms. We were just two people but room for a lot more. Beautiful views!
Amazing place! So cozy and comfortable. Close to so many trails. We dropped off the kids at Hunter Mountain to snowboard both days and went for 2 amazing hikes. Perfect bluebird days! Will definitely be back!
The house is clean, very good organized, stylish and the view, surroundings, location are impeccable!
We slept very good and had a nice Easter weekend.
I had a wonderful weekend stay at this lovely cabin! It is beautiful and cozy, all necessities provided. The check in and check out processes were easy, the guest contact was easy to contact and pleasant to speak with. The views are gorgeous, and the neighbors are so kind. Loved being here and definitely plan to come back! Will tell all my friends! Thank you!
Wonderful, wonderful place. It was very hot the days we stayed and there is no AC.
It cools down at night and sleeping was no problem but until 8pm, it was uncomfortable. The house was spotless and there were plenty of amenities. We were very happy we chose this place.
This cozy home was located in the perfect location for us moms to escape for the weekend. The trail heads were close to the house. We hiked from Indianhead to Sugarloaf. Returning home we had home cooked meal. The kitchen was perfect for working and the table just the right size to fit us all. The mountains in the background add to the overall ambiance of the place. Looking forward to visiting again.

The house was beautiful, however the AC didn’t work and wasn’t able to get a hold of owner/management to fix the issue.

Cozy, but expansive cottage on pretty property
We really enjoyed our weekend stay on this property. This was one instance where the pictures of the cottage slightly undersold how nice the property is. Three bedrooms and the loft were all generously sized, with a large kitchen, dining space and family room. Very nice deck overlooked a sizeable backyard with the Catskill mountains in the distance. The house was warm and cozy-- a more than suitable base for our hiking adventures. Our kids loved the loft and the backyard. The home was clean and well appointed-- we could not have asked for a better stay near to Tannersville.

Pleasant, but No heat and no cellphone reception
Property was attractive and convenient for our purposes, as described. Clean except for bathmats. Good kitchen and laundry facilities. 2 problems: heat did not work and lack of cell service made contacting manager difficult because she did not respond to emails (WiFi was fine). Also VRBO did not allow us to access check-out instructions 15 minutes before the required checkout time, said we had completed the trip.
The house was lovely and just what we needed as a home base to ski at Hunter.
The kids enjoyed marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit, kitchen well supplied, grocery store was nearby.
At one point the listing mentioned 2 half baths which is incorrect, there are 2 full baths with showers and tub.
One thing which was a little disturbing was that a neighbor from a house across the street started screaming at us from her porch one evening that it was ‘against the rules to have a dog off-leash.’
Our dog never left the backyard of the property without a leash and when we walked her in the road we were careful to clean up. Being yelled at by someone who didn’t even have the decency to come over and speak with us was disconcerting and frightened to my kids.
The cottage is very nicely remodeled and in a beautiful area of Hunter Mountain. The inside was immaculate and exactly as described and pictured. The cottage had nice touches like linens, towels, and toiletries provided. We stayed for the weekend to attend a family wedding in nearby Saugerties. There were a few small inconveniences that I will mention because I do read reviews before I rent places and thought it might be helpful. The property has 3 wall air conditioners but we couldn’t get the temperature below 75. Thankfully it cooled down in the evening so we could open the windows. The main bathroom door would not latch when you tried to close it. I just held it closed with my hand when I used it. The inside was very well maintained but the outside lawn was very high when we arrived. If we had wanted to use the fire pit, we would’ve been disappointed because you would’ve had to walk through high grass and weeds to get to it. There was heavy rain the week before we came so the water was slightly brown due to it being a private well. I bought spring water for coffee and drinking. Lastly, I went to make breakfast and there was only one small frying pan. All the other pots and dishes seemed plentiful, but you will need to bring your own frying pan. Overall, it was a very nice property!
