Get ready to relax and recharge in this charming 4 season Muskoka waterfront cottage.
All day Sun filled southern exposure. Surrounded by nature. Loon lake is a clean water Muskoka lake,great for fishing,ice fishing,skating, swimming,boating and water sports. The cottage is equipped with new central gas heating and a wood burning fire stove. There's central AC for the warm summer season. Conveniently located within a few minutes drive to the activities, shops and restaurants of Gravenhurst Wharf
The space
The ideal Muskoka waterfront cottage elevated on Canadian Granite shield rock overlooking beautiful Loon Lake. You'll feel like you're in a group of seven painting.
The space is a charming newly renovated 800 sq ft light filled 3 bedroom 1 bathroom bungalow with an additional 4th bedroom in the detached bunkie. Perfect for a guest or teenagers seeking privacy. Please note that while the cottage has central heat and AC the bunkie is heated with space heaters in the winter months and cooled with a portable AC in the summer. The cottage can accommodate up to 7 guests and up to 2 guests can stay in the bunkie.

Guests get access to the entire property which is about half an acre and the cottage is completely private and not shared with anybody else.
Our guests will have access to :

Private driveway with 4 parking spaces.

Outdoor Fire Pit with a lake view.

Covered patio with outdoor furniture overlooking the lake.

Picnic area with 2 benches and a picnic table by the lake.

BBQ supplied with Propane

Private dock( available during summer , early fall and late spring)

Wood burning stove for use in the cold months (in addition to central heating).

Fully equipped kitchen , where you can prepare your meals.

Detached bunkie ( 4th bedroom) will be available free of charge only for bookings with 7-9 guests. For smaller groups of 6 registered guests or less, the nightly fee for the bunkie would be $75.

When the lake is not frozen 2 Kayaks are available for guests to use (signed waiver required).

2 pairs of snow shoes are available in the winter season for guests to use. bonus: a pair of kids' snow shoes.

Netflix is available for guests to enjoy on the smart TV in the cottage.

Wifi available

We provide all linens and bath towels upon request and free of charge.

The property is located on a municipal road that's plowed in the winter time. We also have a private service to clear snow from the driveway for easy access during the winter season.

Alona's cottage was a great spot to hang with friends for the weekend. It had everything you need, including a dock with sun access throughout the day! Alona is a responsive host and answered all the questions I had for her very quickly.

Peaceful Stay

Our group had a wonderful time here. Communication with the host was great and the place had everything we needed for the weekend. We were steps away from the lake and surrounded by lots of nature. The area was quiet and peaceful with friendly residents. Use of the kayaks, fire pit, grill, and outside balcony area were nice bonuses! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We had a terrific stay in Gravenhurst. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The only concern is that the property is on a very steep incline, and the stairs leading down to the dock/patio area are very steep and unpredictable, so if you are an older person or have mobility issues, this property may not be for you. Also, I think that the listing should be more clear about the fact that the fourth bedroom, the 'bunkie' costs an additional fee, so it's not really a '4-bedroom', more like 31 or something.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cottage in Gravenhurst! The place was immaculate—everything was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared. Every amenity we could possibly need was available, making it feel like a true home away from home.The view was simply breathtaking, and you can tell that a lot of love and care has gone into maintaining and curating this beautiful property. The host was incredibly attentive and communicated clearly and promptly throughout our stay.My family and I had a fantastic time and will definitely be booking again in the future. Great spot to relax on the lake

We are originally from the area and when visiting family like to rent a place to call our own. This was the perfect spot to call home base while we were back. Cute little cottage at a great spot on Loon Lake. Beautiful lake that is very swimable and perfect for long lazy days. Cottage was equipped with everything we needed and we felt comfortable and welcomed. Location is a close 10 minutes to all the amenities of Gravenhurst yet feels incredibly remote when there. Will definite be back.

Family Vacation on Loon Lake

My parents, sister and I had a lovely time at this property. Alona was a fantastic host with clear and speedy communication. The cottage itself is lovely and easily fit us all. The cottage has something for everyone. I really enjoyed kayaking around Loon and Turtle Lakes. MMy parents loved the various sitting areas. My sister loved jumping off the dock. Great price and great spot! Thank you Alona we will be there again!

A Wonderful Family Retreat

It was a lovely, cozy spot with the convenience of being minutes away from Gravenhurst while feeling sufficiently removed from city life. The cottage had everything we needed, including great views and comfortable bedrooms. The addition of the beautiful bunkie made sleeping arrangements very comfortable for 8 adults. Much thanks to the property manager for very quick & clear communications. Recommended! Additionally, The Gravenhurst Farmers Market on Wednesday and The Bakery on Brock St. are not to be missed!

Beautiful cottage right on Gravenhurst

We spent 3 relaxing nights at this cozy cottage. It had everything we needed just to disconnect for a few days. Comfortable beds and pillows, a fire pit, Muskoka chairs on the dock, 2 kayaks, pet friendly. Alona is a super host, very easy to reach. The only issue was we were not able to use the washing machine cause it needs a special detergent and we didn't feel like driving to get a bottle just for one load. We’d like to come back this Summer.

There's a mandatory cleaning fee included in the price, and so no one deserves to see a toilet bowl filled with poo the moment you walk in to the cottage that you're renting. We flushed it many times and ended up cleaning the toilet bowl so we could use it. After that, me and my friends had to clean the dusty kitchen counter top and dining table, sweep the balcony due to cigarette butts everywhere and on the chairs, and wipe the dirty floor of the living room. All the furnitures are very dusty. I informed the host about the condition of the place soon after that. Alona just said that her cleaners were there to prepare the place before we came. I hope that she will take care of this property that is in a nice location. We are very very disappointed with the experience.

Girls Getaway

The cottage was lovely with a beautiful view of the lake. The rock steps going down to the dock were a little steep so we definitely had to be careful. In terms of cleanliness, the inside was clean but the outside areas could have been cleaner, ie…tables were extremely dirty. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated and organized. The one washroom was fine but with 7 ladies another bathroom would’ve been better, but we managed. Alona was helpful with any questions I had and was quick to answer any questions. Unfortunately we did get a late instruction about the recycling so we were unable to follow through with that. Overall, I would recommend this lovely cottage and the beautiful location!
