A perfect little getaway vacation
Jeanne was incredibly helpful as the VRBO app was having some issues. She gave us great recommendations for the area and their property is absolutely gorgeous! Nestled in the trees, overlooking the water and mountains, picturesque and perfect. My wife and I took advantage of the quiet time, the hot tub and soaked in an amazing stay, and we’d do it again! Book this place already!

Why they chose this property

The cabin features a beautiful gas fireplace, leather furniture, huge glass “garage“ style doors, queen bed, room darkening shades in bedroom, original art, convection cooktop, microwave, toaster/steam oven, TV and Internet. There is a fire bowl on the patio for those cool evenings, firewood provided. You will almost certainly see deer grazing calmly. Song birds, hawks, eagles, and blue herons come around. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of our neighbourhood bear, or hear the haunting sounds of our resident owl. You might love an easy walk over to popular Persephone’s brewery, to any of a number of great hiking trails, or to the harbour in the town of Gibsons. You can rent a kayak in the summer or check out our bike trails. Swimming is great at nearby Armour’s Beach, at Davis Bay, or one of several lakes in the area. The cabin is on an acreage, so there’s plenty of room to move around. There could be sleeping space made available for one child on the couch in the main room, so please speak to the owner if this is your situation.

What makes this property unique

You will have the entire cabin to yourselves. The owner lives on the property in the main house, but you won’t likely see her unless you are out in the front yard. She goes out of her way to ensure privacy for her guests. The hot tub is available for guest use, but because it is located behind the main house, arrangements should be made in advance to ensure privacy for both owner and guests. The hot tub area is a lovely spot with gorgeous gardens, fishpond, and views.
