This is a charming and cozy cabin very close to the Folk School. We will definitely stay here again when we return. The view the landscaping the large screened in porch compliment the rustic but well appointed interior.

Our stay at the Rivercane cabin was amazing! The cabin is so warm, comfortable and welcoming. The decor is so well done. Every corner of it has the most intresting things to look at. The studio and outdoor space were our favorite! We had every meal outside and could enjoy the evenings out there bug free. It is all screened in so you can enjoy the fresh air and still hear all the night noises of the outdoors. Location was perfect and a great place to stay while visiting family. Roger was so nice and helpful during our stay. He was always available for questions. We have stayed in many vrbo rentals in the area over the years. This was our favorite so far. Thank you Roger and Lynda!

Very quiet and peaceful exactly what we were looking for. The host provided excellent instructions on how to get there, where to eat, grocery stores and etc. The neighboring towns of Murphy and Hayesville served the purpose of hiking trails, fly fishing and shopping. . Our week of mountain living was great.

This cabin is charming and conveniently located near John C Campbell School. The back patio is a delight. One bedroom has a queen bed, although the bed is on the soft side. The second bedroom has a very comfortable bed(a little firmer) but it is only a double bed. The front porch had two inviting rockers, although they had lots of spider webs. We noticed many spider webs in the trees so this may be a common problem in this area. The host communicated often and was very easy to work with. Overall, a great place to stay.

In a beautiful mountain setting, this cabin had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was well stocked and open to the dining table surrounded by windows on three sides. Deer wandered by as we watched. Beds were comfortable, the en-suite bathroom is small but perfectly adequate. The living room couch was comfortable with a soft throw on the back and there is a beautiful stone fireplace. A big screened back room with tables and chairs was great for reading and listen to rain. The front porch has two rocking chairs to enjoy the sunset. The cabin is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated with many books and what appears to be a lifetime of carefully curated collectibles. The owner was responsive to any communications. We are hoping to be back next year.

We stayed while attending classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School, and the location was perfect—very close and easy to get to. The cabin itself was beautiful, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with plenty of amenities and provisions. The owner was also very responsive whenever we had questions, which made the stay easy and stress-free. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it.
