We have stayed at Plantation Dunes in the past and we really love the area! The condo itself has a great layout and came stocked with everything we needed for our stay. I do believe the condo could have been a bit cleaner but we made due with what we had and enjoyed our overall stay. Also I wish the Check Out instructions were posted within the condo or given a bit sooner we were already on the road home when I received the message with the instructions so only some were completed.

Great location and wonderfully updated condo.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The condo is located on the third floor and at a corner, so it was very quiet when inside. The beds were comfortable, and the condo had everything we needed. We loved being able to walk to the beach, or take the kids swimming in the multiple pools. We will definitely return in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay, room wasn’t super clean and the hot tub was out of order most of our stay but would still recommend.

Great location for a family getaway!

This was our first time in this area and we loved the location. It was quiet and secluded and worked great for our family. The beach and pool were easy to access from our condo, and it was easy to come and go throughout the day with our young kids. The condo was exactly as pictured. We cooked several meals in the condo and did notice there was not a baking sheet or any pot holders in the kitchen, which would have been helpful, but we made it work. We had a very relaxing week here!

Great spot!

Great location if you’re looking to get away from all the traffic! Several good local eating spots. Great large 1ft kiddie pool area in one of the main pools. Definitely a good place to stay with small kids if you’re not looking to be on the go the whole trip & wanting more relaxation. The condo was on the smaller side but beautifully updated & very clean!

Property is amazing

I just loved being able to walk down the boardwalk to the beach. I’ve never stayed somewhere so convenient to the beach.We didn’t have a broom and requested one but never received it. With kids and making every meal in the unit we really needed something to clean up the floor - vacuum or broom.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was great and clean the hallways was not clean at all the pools was down for maintenance everyday we was there not a good experience

great time

it was a great place to stay, the hallways outside the condos could be cleaner, the towels could be cleaner too, we ended up not using them was one had a huge brown stain, the other was more yellow then white. one other thing, it might be nice if the owners invested in blackout curtains for the main bedroom. theres 2 windows with lights right outside making the master bedroom a little bright. but thats just knitpicking, overall the place was great, thanks for having us, hope to go back there again.

Excellent location but experienced a couple of minor issues

Location was as advertised. Beach was an easy stroll via a connecting boardwalk. We encountered a couple of problems: The lamp in guest bedroom was unplugged when we arrived. When we moved the nightstand to plug it in, we discovered a dirty yellow sock and some trash (I snapped a photo) The top of the refrigerator had about a half-inch of dust on it. I'm 6-foot-5, which is probably the only reason I noticed it and others wouldn't. We also had tiny black ants in the master bedroom sink. There seemed to be fewer with each passing and only 4 or 5 by the time we departed. The unit itself has been remodeled and was great for our needs. Feels like the cleaning crew might have been a bit negligent, not the condo's owner.

Great location and clean newly remodeled unit!

This is a brand new renovation, fantastic quieter section of Gulf Shores, the Plantation property has nice boardwalks to the beach and several pools/hottubs, and amenities. A few highlights: Perfectly aligned section of beach for sunsets Minutes from Fort Morgan and the ferry to Dauphin island Indoor pool/hottub if rain or cold days happen Room had new appliances, nice step out porch for morning coffee and nice warm sun in the afternoon Outdoor hanging hooks were great for towels & suits Walking to beach or nearby pools was easy Sassy Bass restaurant was a good easy option for our first night when we hadn't gotten our groceries yet Made many meals in our unit Unit next to indoor pool & workout facility Saw Dolphins!! A few tips for visitors: 10 minutes from town so plan food No pizza pan Pack TP and your own dishwasher packets This unit was a ways from the laundry. pack change, only needed once so not a big deal but just for planners have some change The TV's DO NOT have broadcast (satellite/cable), plenty of streaming options but live TV was not available TV's are: Fire TV, Google TV, Roku TV. One of each We arrived on a Friday and some of our questions weren't answered by the host for a full 48 hours. My previous experiences with VRBO, on arrival day the host should be readily available for questions and issues to help settle in. I believe they are figuring everything out in these new units yet so we were on the early edge of finding a few problems with WiFi.
