Beautiful place to stay for a much-needed break. All the family rested, relaxed and enjoyed the home feeling of the property. Beds were lovely and comfortable with plenty of room to be together or spend time alone curled up with a book. Will definitely return! Denielle
Scribbly Gum was a great location to stay for a weekend away with friends. Close to all the Blue Mountains attractions but still felt secluded in a lovely patch of Bush. The home was well decorated, clean, warm and perfect for lounging and dinners together after long walks in the day. Highly recommended.
Highly recommended, everything our family was hoping for. Our Christmas in July was magical, the house was so cozy clean and everything was to hand. Thank you and would definitely return Nikki
Super comfy and really nice place to chill and relax
We really had a great time during our weekend getaway in Leura. It has a wifi and a fireplace! Definitely a win!
Hi Geoff, Just wanted to pass on a big thank you to you & the owners of Scribbly Gum Cottage in Rawson St, Leura. The cottage was immaculate, cosy & beautifully furnished. The photos online may need to change as they don't do it justice in comparison to how gorgeous the cottage is. Will definitely stay again. Regards, Kelly
Perfect. Very high standard of accommodation. All the little touches of luxury are thought of here. So comfortable. Will certainly come again. Emily.
We were an adult family of 5 and found this accommodation perfect for our 2-night stay in the Blue Mountains. Great location in rural surroundings. Covered parking just outside the house. A little skill needed for turning the car around or for backing in the driveway. Spacious home with wonderful inside decor and art, and outside living in great harmony with the local environment. Great kitchen, comfortable living area with fireplace to make for great cosy evenings. Very comfortable beds and good sized 3 bedrooms. I would highly recommend Scribbly Gum to anyone staying short term or for longer periods in the Laura Katoomba area. Lorena.
Here’s what Kirrily wrote My family had a wonderful stay at Scribbly Gum. The place was inviting and cozy, and so close to Leura, yet so peaceful in the bush setting. Scribbly Gum had all the amenities that we needed, comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and beautiful surrounds. I highly recommend it; we will definitely be returning!

Halfway between a cabin and a house. Clean and neat. Ideal for a small family. Set in a native bush setting. Great heating & balcony. Limited mobile phone coverage, but with WiFi, it didn't matter greatly. 5min drive from Leura mall. Longish driveway with no turning circle. Park on the street if you don't like reversing. Would stay there again. Note: Jigsaw puzzle had a piece missing arrrrrh.
