Centrally-located
You're never far from where you need to be with this convenient location.
My cottage is a simple, wholesome escape. Just a skip away from the busy roads and city life, nature is all around. You might spot a heron flying over the river, chipmunks stopping by to say hello, or even a turkey wandering through the yard. It’s a small, cozy, no-frills kind of place—perfect for slowing down and enjoying the little things.
Indoors, light up the woodstove and get cozy—there’s plenty of firewood for you to use. Play a game of chess at the game table or wind down with some Netflix. Outside, lounge with a good book on the deck, stretch out in the hammock, or fire up the Kamado grill for a BBQ. Sauble Beach is just an 8 minute drive, and Tobermory, Lion’s Head, and Collingwood are all about an hour away.
Other things to note Thanks for considering my Airbnb! Here's what you can expect:
I've got you covered on bedding and towels—no need to bring your own.
The kitchen is equipped with essentials like pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for your convenience.
Exploring the river outback is best in July and August when the water levels are lower.
As much as I adore animals, the cottage is pet-free, and I don’t make exceptions to be fair to future guests who specifically seek this out.
Looking forward to hosting you!

Beautiful cottage and location, private, quiet and relaxing. Host was amazing, very friendly with excellent communication. Hoping to make it back and stay there again in the future!
My husband and I went to this rental for our honeymoon and we loved the quietness and relaxation it provided for us. We also loved how versatile the location was to go to surrounding towns. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. This rental will be thought of again for further travels. We highly recommend staying here!
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped, with thoughtful touches throughout.
We loved sitting on the back deck, watching the river and all of the wildlife around it. Our stay was peaceful and private and we would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

The host was incredible in ensuring we had everything we needed before and during the stay. The house/cabin is in a terrific location and is beautiful. The house is incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need.
Thank you again!
Excellent location, quiet, best supplied VRBO we stayed at
Excellent host; all the supplies you can think of; we’ll thought out needed items, games, kitchen supplies, etc.
Very quiet, secluded location, gorgeous river view location and we loved it. Our nieces kids had a ball skipping rocks in the Sauble River, and enjoyed the close location to Wiarton, Owens Sound, Sauble Beach. Our host kept us informed, made us feel extremely welcome, and thought of things we didn’t even know we might need. Extremely kind
We had the most amazing time at the Sauble River cottage! It’s a perfect spot just short of 10 minutes from beach. Everything was even better than the pictures (super clean and in great condition). The back deck area is reason enough to book here. Not to mention, Saima was the best host we’ve ever had. Not only was she super responsive, she was so quick to provide recommendations for things to do during our stay. We had the best time and will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return. The owner was very accommodating, and helpful making us feel at ease. The moment we walked into the cottage it smelt clean, everything was so tidy, and welcoming. The DECK was our favourite part! We spent the most time here in the hammock over looking Sauble River. Our family enjoyed swimming and fishing in the river. They supplied games, tv, bluetooth speaker, coffee, water, soaps and shampoo making packing easier. The beds were comfy, and bedding was supplied. The kitchen was stocked with great quality cooking pans, and utensils. It was close driving distance to the beach and Sauble Speedway.
This property was perfect for a getaway! The river in behind was so relaxing and the deck with many chairs made it easy to enjoy. The host provided just about anything you could need and was very easy to communicate with. It’s a perfect distance from Sauble beach and many stores if anything is needed. Highly recommend this place!!
We just got back from a five-day stay at this beautiful riverfront cottage, and it was honestly such an amazing trip for our family. Everything about the experience felt so easy from start to finish. The host was incredibly accommodating and had the cottage stocked with more than what we needed, which was a huge help since it made pack so much lighter than usual (we still brought way too much of course). As for the property itself, it was fantastic and super family-friendly. Our kids were in heaven being able to fish right off the bank—they ended up catching about 15 to 20 fish during our stay, so it’s definitely a great spot even if you aren’t an experienced fisher. It's a nature-rich environment as well, we say so may Blue Jays (and even a garden snake or two!). We spent our days taking trips over to Sauble Beach & Tobermory, which was a nice easy drive, and then our evenings were spent back at the cottage making the most of the huge front lawn. We played so much soccer and baseball out there as the sun went down, and then finished off every night with a cozy fire roasting smores. It really was an excellent property and we had an even better time than we were expecting. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway—it was a wonderful five days and we’re already hoping to head back!
