Stunning view of Zion

Property was a fantastic base for our 2 families to meet and then visit Zion National park. It easily accommodated our 2 families of 5.

Perfect Zion Getaway

we stayed at this beautiful home for three nights while we visited Zion national Park and Bryce Canyon national Park. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. I wish we had more time to stay longer! The owners have great attention to detail and the house feels very welcoming.

Family Vacation

This property was just what we were looking for. A short drive to Zion, but far enough away to not feel like we were spending the night in a tourist trap. The house provided plenty of amenities and room for my teens to have their own space, yet come together over some great ping pong tournaments.

Great home for family with older teens

We really enjoyed the home’s layout and view. The home was comfortable- with two living arenas to spread out and well appointed kitchen. The home was slightly further away to the parks than we expected - however the views made up for the drive. The owners are responsive and offer a large binder full of resources and suggestions. Highly recommend the property and would stay there again!

Exactly what you're looking for

We went on our first trip to Zion and this place was perfect! This clean, updated, comfortable, in a great location with everything you need. Its away from the few other nearby properties so you have good privacy. . .and the VIEWS from this house and beautiful! Sunrises on the deck are stunning. The downstairs is its own living quarters so our three teens loved their privacy and so did us adults who stayed upstairs lol. It's an easy 40mins drive to the park. The detached game room was a hit with everyone in our group. This really is a great property and "exactly what you're looking for."

Hiking paradise. House is clean, has everything you need, and lots of good beds. Great launching space for southern Utah parks or much closer to the house parks. Night sky is stunning as well. Still waiting to hear back if we can check in a bit early…. Other than that, we loved it and would come back again. Very well organized house and the host’s binder is full of great ideas for food/things to do locally.

This home was perfect! The drive to Zion is easy and not too far. We also visited Kanara Falls. Both AMAZING! The house had plenty of space for us and our 16-21 year old children. Kitchen equipped with essentials. Comfortable beds. Fun game room in the garage, beautiful views. Nearby gas station. Look through the binder with guests documenting their stay! We hope to return!

Nice place a little off the beaten path

The place was nice, the view of the mountains/mesas across the plain is striking. The game room was a wonderful feature. The deck was in poor repair and while they had it listed as scheduled for restaining, it appeared that the materials where that was stated date back to 2022. The property is right on the edge of a more “West Virginia/Appalachia” section of town and on the other side are wealthy ranch compounds. The biggest drawback is beyond the owners’ control which is the distance to just about everywhere. Zion is a good 45 mins one way. There’s a place called Gooseberry Mesa that may have good hiking that’s closer by but we didn’t get to it. So I would say this would be a solid place to stay if you’re going to spend more time in the VRBO, mainly eat in, and just go out for outdoor activities a few times. As it was, I would have gone for someplace in Hurricane or Kanab to cut down on all the driving we had to do.

Nice Stay - Property as advertised

Property was as advertised. Neighborhood was quiet. Upon arrival there was a water bucket underneath a leaking air conditioner and we had to deal with a repair man visiting during our stay. Other than that the property worked great for us.

Great base for our Zion exploring. Loved the peaceful rural setting with phenomenal views. Was worth the few extra minutes of driving!

Family Spring Break

Family of seven loved this property for a long weekend. Enjoyed the game room, visited Zion National Park and Bruce Canyon. We loved the views from the property. Quiet neighborhood. House was spacious with comfortable beds and enjoyed the sauna after a day of hiking. We didn’t interact with the property manager as the instructions and expectations were clearly communicated ahead of time. Would definitely stay here again.

Apple Valley home

The property was very clean and had amazing views. It was not as secluded as it seemed in the listing. It is located in the little town of Apple Valley surrounded by neighbors. The town is rural and quiet, but lots of barking dogs at night (and also coyotes). The drive through town makes you wonder a bit about the neighborhood, but we always felt safe and never had issues. It is about a 30-45 min drive to Zion NP (although you can see the back of the park from the back porch. Overall it was a nice property.

Nice getaway

This home was lovely. A short drive to Hurricane and just a little further to ZiON. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the decks. Louesa, the property manager, was wonderful when communicating with her.

Questionable Neighborhood

The unit was nice and clean. However, we had difficulty getting in the door. Learned we had to pull the door towards you before putting in the code. The hot tub was unusable as the jets were broken. The downstairs TV did not work. The neighbors dogs barked through the night. Houses in this small neighborhood were unkept with “junk” in the yards. Setting is nice if you like to be in a remote area.

Zion Trip

Beautiful property with spectacular views! The house is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The only thing is that there were some minor maintenance issues with the front door but didn’t prevent it from locking properly and then the AC unit leaked water into the wall and floor on the last day we were there. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. I would stay here again and recommend to others also. Great price for such a spacious house also!

Beautiful Views!

Getting in the property was very easy- no hassle at all. It was very clean and well organized. We loved the mountain views off the deck so much and it was very relaxing. There was enough space for everyone to spread out after a day together. The teenagers enjoyed the lower level with movies and games, plus the garage game room. Sauna was a bonus. Great set up!

Perfect location!

The location was absolutely perfect for visits/activities in Kanab, Kanarra Falls, Grand Canyon - North Rim, and Zion National Park. The house was so very clean and there was so much space for us to congregate as well as spread out. We cooked most dinners in and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Our kiddos are older and we were out and about most days, but the game room would have been so used/appreciated when they were younger. Just a really great spot for a family to vacation and spend quality time together.
