The house driveway is sloppy, and not suitable to walk for mobility-impaired guests. But still, the guest can drive the car up to 5 meters close to the house's main entrance.
Free street parking is available, and the house is located in a secure and highly residential suburb.
We have one security camera at the front entrance and one at the rear entrance (No audio). They will be on during your stay to give you maximum protection.

The house was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. It had an abundance of natural light, and the views from the backyard were absolutely breathtaking! The home was well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay and was conveniently close to shops and other amenities.The only downside was the steep driveway, but aside from that, it was a perfect stay. We all loved it!
Comfortable and spacious house with great beds and plenty of room for our group of seven. The electric frying pan was very handy. The place covers the basics, but a few extra supplies (paper towel, rubbish bags, cleaning items) and larger cookware would make it more practical for bigger groups. It would also be helpful to note in the listing that there’s no BBQ. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay
The house was perfect for our 3 night stay in Hobart. A few minutes to the city in a quiet street. The house was very clean and tidy with good facilities. It has a great view of Mt Wellington!
A small suggestion: we needed to buy a dish cloth and scrubber as the dishwasher is only small and there were 7 of us to wash up for.

Overall good property. Would be good to have a plug for kitchen sink to wash up what doesn’t fit in the dishwasher. A dish cloth to wipe down benches & pot scrubber would also be helpful.
Excellent all round. Beds and bedrooms big and comfy. Lounge room spacious. Good size tv. Thanks for smart tv. Very clean. Deck overlooking mount Wellington and lights of valley. Couldn’t fault it. Just wished it didn’t have such a steep driveway. We didn’t drive down it. We parked up top and walked down.
The Property had all we could want, without being too big or too small.
Excellent service from the owner who is always approachable.
The location is ideal for getting out an about, without spending all day doing so.
I would recommend this property to anyone wishing some quality time in Tasmania, in a well appointed house. If we find ourselves capable of returning soon, we would most likely return to this house. 9 out of 10 all up.

This property is in a good location. It is close to a local shopping centre with a Kmart and Coles supermarket etc. It is only a 10-15 minute drive to the heart of Hobart such as the Salamanca market. The house was good for the 4 us to stay in with 3 decent sized bedrooms with all having a queen or king sized bed.
The down side of this property which wouldn't take much fixing is it is not really set up to cook for even 4 people. The only frypan there is about the size of a bread and butter plate so 4 steaks is four individually cooked steaks. A BBQ would be very handy. I would still recommend this property but hopefully the owners invest in some better/more realistic cooking gear.
In November 2023, two friends and I enjoyed a week stay. The house was very clean and well-organized. Each of the three bedrooms were a generous size with a comfortable queen bed and mirror. The bathroom, featuring a toilet, along with a separate toilet, proved to be very convenient. The back deck provides a great view of Mt Wellington. The house served as an excellent base, approximately 10 minutes from Hobart city. We appreciated the owner's consistent prompt replies. One thing to be aware the driveway is quite steep. A suggestion for improvement, bedside lamps for reading in the bedrooms. Do recommend this property as a base in Tassie, thanks for making our stay comfortable.

Basic but ok
This accommodation was ok, not great but alright. 2 towels each for 6 nights meant washing towels during our stay. Not a biggie. Shower makes a high pitch noise when in use and can't turn other taps on when someone in shower as water temp changes to very hot! Minimal dishes etc in kitchen, alot of glasses, lol. Thought there was a BBQ and never received a response when I emailed 3 times about this. This property is about 15 mins from city centre, ok whwn you have a car.
Very comfortable stay for family of 4 (Adult children)
We stayed for 7 night is late October.
This was a very comfortable 3 bedroom house, all with queen or king beds and a huge TV. The beds were also comfortable with plenty of pillow options.
Light and brightly furnished with renovated bathroom and 2nd toilet. Heaters in all bedrooms and a split system reverse cycle air conditioner in the lounge warmed the house nicely on a couple
of cold Hobart nights.
Very pleasant views of Mt Wellington and across the valley.
Like a lot of Tasmania, it was in quite a hilly area but we enjoyed morning walks exploring the suburb and walking to local cafe (Whisk & Co - 1.5km ea way)
The driveway was quite steep, but I enjoyed the challenge.
A nice deck at the rear of the property but a BBQ would be a nice addition.
My wife who likes reading in bed would also appreciate a lamp or two.
