Welcome to Mt Rumney Escapes.

This is our "Wombat House" with 3 Bedrooms and 1 bathroom, open plan living.

Mount Rumney Escapes is situated in a rural setting in Mount Rumney which is only 14 KM from Hobart CBD and 13 KM to Hobart International Airport.

This property is close to all local attractions around Hobart and surrounding areas, Richmond, Port Arthur, Hastings Cave, Mona Museum, Salamanca Market, and much more.

This property is set in natural bushland with magnificent views of Seven Mile Beach and in a small hobby farm with sheep, horses, goat, birds, and chickens.

Fully self-contained with all essential items, FREE Wi-Fi, TV, FREE Netflix, microwave/convection, Fridge freezer, washing machine, dyer, towel, and linen provided.

Our 5 cabins self-sufficient with everything from water to power being made or harvested on site. Being off grid doesn’t mean that you have to go without though
Book your family stay or book with a group of friends or sporting colleagues, with 5 houses available, sleeping up to 24 guests.

Another existing cabin is Pet Friendly and sleeps up to 6 guests and we also have a cabin that is disability friendly for wheelchair access, Please message to find out more.

The location of your accommodation with Mount Rumney Escapes, allows you to easily explore Hobart & it’s surrounding regions.

While staying with us, we would love to meet you and introduce you to some, or all of our animals: horses, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, chickens & birds. There are numerous gorgeous bush walks on the property, some which provide incredible views of the surrounding areas. At any time, you could be lucky enough to come across a variety of native animals: echidna’s, wallaby’s, kangaroo’s, variety of native birds, blue tongue lizards and possums!

You will receive instructions a few days before arriving explaining how to get here and where to access keys.

We may not be at the property when you arrive, but please let yourself into the cabin and enjoy your stay.
