Many safety concerns with the home including missing pool fencing, mirrors not properly attached to the wall, several diningroom chairs with broken legs as well as the gaming chairs, broken glass around the pool area, hanging light fixture in the shower, no oven mitts for the hot pans coming from the oven. Also the kitchen was very poorly equipped for the amount of people staying in the home. There was a couple of steak knives and we had to request knives, of which 6 were sent over for a house of 20 people! Many of the issues were not even addressed until I called VRBO several days later. And even then not every issue had been addressed. And we were forced to pay for heat in the hot tub. Listing states pool heat extra, but not extra for the hot tub. Very poorly managed property, and I have stayed in many!

Regarding the pool and spa heat, the property uses a single heating system that services both the pool and the spa, and heating is an optional paid amenity as outlined in the listing.

The stay was okay. The upkeep of the property needs to be reviewed. The dryer didn’t work well. Broken bed frames in a couple rooms. Hole in a wall. Smoke detectors beeping. Wallpaper coming down. Light fixtures were loose. Refrigerator was not working properly and it was leaking water on the floor. Mold in the water dispenser. Ice maker not working, we had to buy multiple cases of water and bags of ice. At check in we had to do our own cleaning. There were crumbs on the counters and the floors were not swept. Two of the chairs in the theater room were not working. The treehouse room the beds were full of crumbs. Pool sticks were broken, cue ball was broken up. Not really good for real players. The game room had broken and torn chairs. Overall the stay was not bad it just needs a deep cleaning and some repairs. For a home that sleeps almost 30 people there should be a bigger toaster and more pots to make big meals.
